How it started and how it’s going. In December 2019 my wife and I adopted an 8 month old boxer from a shelter. We named her Roxy. 2 years ago we bought her a puppy named Charlie. People over the years have thanked me for rescuing her. I didn’t. She rescued me. ❤️❤️

@KTLA So this means biodiesel will go to $10 a gallon? Even though it’s made 100% in the United States for some reason it’s tied to Persian Gilf Oil prices.

@DividendBreeder I’m calling BS on this one. The copays, out of pockets etc are on your medical ID card. Under my insurance it would have been $20 copay and less that $10 for the meds.

My daughter recently had an ear infection. Took her to the doctor, who prescribed an antibiotic. That doctor visit cost $244. My insurance covered $60, so we owe $184 out of pocket. I pay $556/month for family health insurance. Something seems broken.

@mattyglesias I live in Nevada. Why would I care if they need a bridge? Drive around or pay for it yourself. Simple. Not a federal concern. Besides what does the state do with the federal highway money they get now??

There was nothing Kamala could have done to win because the mood of the country was grievance. People wanted to hurt other people. We just have to admit that. There’s a lot of bad, mean people in this country and they won. Barely, but they won. We have to find our morality.

@harryjsisson So when did we piss off Canada? They’ve always charged us tariffs. You’re dumb as a box of rocks Harry!

🇨🇦 Canada’s incoming Prime Minister, Mark Carney, just put Donald Trump in his place shortly after being selected by the Liberal Party: “A person who worships at the alter of Donald Trump will kneel before him, not stand up to him” “These are dark days. Dark days brought on by a country we can no longer trust.” “My government will keep tariffs on until the Americans show us respect.” He’s not playing around. Trump has pissed off the Canadians.

@RasmusJarlov The $180 billion is just the monetary aid given. Other programs like trading helicopters to Slovakia for MIGs are part of Trump’s 350 billion total.

Here is the truth about the numbers that he is talking about. "Trump’s citation of $350 billion is double what Congress has approved ... Contrary to Trump’s claims, Europe has provided more in aid than the U.S." factcheck.org/2025/03/trump-…

Is this normal in your countries? A president that continues to lie even if he has been corrected a hundred times on these numbers. In Denmark, people dont like being told lies. Voters punish it. Why do Americans accept and vote for it? I dont get it.

@allenanalysis You do realize a nuclear submarine is powered by a nuclear reactor right? No need to refuel. No real need to surface either.

🚨 BREAKING: U.S. NUCLEAR SUB FORCED TO TURN BACK AFTER FUEL SNUB The USS Delaware (SSN-791), a Virginia-class nuclear attack submarine, found itself stranded off Norway’s coast after Haltbakk Bunkers (HB), one of the country’s largest marine fuel suppliers, refused to refuel it. This move isn’t just a business decision—it’s a political statement. In an official post, HB condemned President Trump’s recent actions as a “backstabbing TV show,” praised Ukrainian President Zelenskyy for his restraint, and declared “No Fuel to Americans!” while urging other European suppliers to follow suit. The timing? Impeccable. This comes right after the contentious Trump-Zelenskyy meeting, where Vice President JD Vance accused Zelenskyy of leading “propaganda tours” to highlight Russian invasion destruction, provoking a heated exchange and creating a public spectacle. Coincidence? Or are we witnessing U.S. influence being whittled away while adversaries take notes? (Source: Visegrád)

BREAKING -- Trump RAISES prescription drug costs by as much as 4200%. He just reversed all the cost caps Biden negotiated for anyone on Medicare or Medicaid, over 120 MILLION Americans. He's pro Big Pharma -- and pro Big Insurance. He doesn't care about you. It was all LIES.

@BernieSanders Controlled burns. California stopped doing it. Since it’s basically a desert, undergrowth dies and becomes a super fuel for a fire. Not climate change.

80,000 people told to evacuate. Blazes 0% contained. Eight months since the area has seen rain. The scale of damage and loss is unimaginable. Climate change is real, not “a hoax.” Donald Trump must treat this like the existential crisis it is.

@jemelehill My degree that I got in 1985 has served me well. That is with zero time of actually working in what I studied for. The cost for kids today needs to be less. No one should have the burden of paying off high student loans to make a better future for themselves.

College isn’t overrated. The problem is the COST of college. And you can thank Ronald Reagan for that. Billionaires out here trying to keep folks dumber and y’all don’t see the game.
Justin Redalen@Justinredalen

@jemelehill Two things can be true at the same time. 1. We need tougher and better educated kids, and that starts with parents demanding excellence from both students and teachers. 2. College is overrated. The VAST majority of jobs in this do not, and should not, require a 4year degree.
