How much of a difference would Scenario 2 be over Scenario 1 in the next 12-18 months? I think everything goes back to this. If there is a significant improvement in scenario 2, Carrick doesn't get the job. If the improvement is minimal, he may get it provided he secures CL football. It will be up to Wilcox and Co. to decide. Tough job. Don't envy them.

Awful performance so far really. Wasn’t a red card for Ramsey imo, clear penalty tho can’t argue with that, really poor decision from Bruno, just no need to dangle a leg out in that situation. Big test for us now to break down a stubborn block and contain their transitions.
