A big thank you to @ERCBNA_ADVOCACY Br. Gennaro Sullo and @BrotherRice Mr. Mike Dolan for coming out all the way to the West Coast to visit and get to know our school. You've made a group of parents feel more connected with the amazing ERNA network of schools.

We used online research databases like @EBSCO and Gale and all of the students were responsible for assessing other presentations! So proud of how these Grade 8's took on the challenge and ran with it.

@AARON_MITCHELL_ @southbball The final score was 83-49 if I am not mistaken so these scores don't make sense at all! Mrs. A. and Mrs. B. always warn the kids not to use google translate! Must have been watching an NBA game at the same time.

@jm_muise It's a socialization exercise! Sometimes it is hard to put yourselves out there for people to critique. Wonder how many students will actually read scientist research results after finishing this problem.

Cooperative group problem solving with my 12s today. I love this format - kids have to: work together; make assumptions and assess their validity; and look up real-values to make progress. I love the level of conversation that comes out of these. #ITeachPhysics
