@EvilKeaton You’re right. I remember hearing it when I was a kid and it first came out and thinking it wasn’t expensive. I think Quentin was importing some weird timeline stuff from the 50s into the movie, including how certain characters speak.

First time I saw Pulp Fiction was in like, 2004 or so and the 5 dollar milkshake line always stuck out. Seemed like a normal price for a milkshake. It made me wonder if the movie was supposed to be set in the 70s or something.

Finished the entire 2.5 hours of Pierre on Rogan. My review: Pierre really had Joe eating out of his hand. No conflict, no second-guessing. Mostly innocuous, non-newsworthy topics. Kind of incredibly so. There were a few corny moments, but could not have gone better for Pierre.

@WolfmansGotNard He’s not a bad actor at all but in some of his more bs shows like Bad Lieutenant, he’s overacting so much that it would be considered one of the worst acting performances ever if it was someone else.
He is an amazing actor though. He should have won an Oscar for Adaptation.
