Jews are being targeted in their homes, schools, and synagogues across Canada. Weak and divisive Liberal leadership emboldens criminals to commit more antisemitic violence. We need a Conservative plan to protect our people: ✅Enforce Canadian laws. ✅Kick out terror agents. ✅Lock up repeat violent offenders.

Blaine just convinced Liberals UNANIMOUSLY that Liberals were wrong to restrict access to natural health products. He kept at it, he spoke often to MPs from all parties. There’s a long way to go but… Congrats boss!
Blaine Calkins@BlaineFCalkins

BREAKING Bill C-224 passes second reading unanimously and has been referred to the Standing Committee on Health before it comes back to the House for third reading.
There are still many hurdles to jump over, but we’re making great progress. Let’s get this done!

700+ IRGC agents in Canada. If we know the number, we know the names. The only question left: why are they still here? Expel them now.

When @shuvmajumdar worked in Iraq he worked w Iranian dissidents & for that was branded a terrorist by Tehran - Carney began w strong measures but now wavers between strength & de-escalation for a regime that launches missiles at its neighbours & massacres its people!

Here’s a summary of the Carney government’s utterly incoherent position on Iran over the past few days: We support the U.S. acting with airstrikes. But we also regret having to support the U.S. acting with airstrikes. And we also call for a ceasefire of the airstrikes. We call on all parties, including the U.S., to uphold international law. We believe the airstrikes are inconsistent with international law, but we support the U.S. acting with airstrikes. Also, we are not ruling out military participation with the U.S. #cdnpoli

Yes. We know. When it comes to freeing innocent Iranians from a fascist dictatorship the Carney Liberals refused to help.

The Iranian regime mowed down an estimated 30,000 people in just a few days but Heather McPherson’s reaction to the serving of justice to these monsters is to repeat Iran talking points & write “international law” 🙄 & Avi Lewis is trying to outdo Heather on this… NDP stinks
Heather McPherson@HMcPhersonNDP

Today’s attack on Iran by the United States and Israel is a serious violation of international law. 1/4

The death of Ayatollah Khamenei brings justice for the Iranian people after decades of rule under this repressive, theocratic, tyrannical dictatorship. This evil man murdered his own people, denied them their basic freedoms, and fuelled terror and violence around the world. Canada will always stand with the people of Iran as they seek a future defined by democracy, freedom, and peace.

Mark Carney is trying to seize a costly Liberal majority government that Canadians voted against in the last election through dirty backroom deals. Matt Jeneroux has betrayed the people of Edmonton Riverbend who voted for affordable food and homes, safe streets, and a strong resource sector. Conservatives will continue our fight for a Canada that's affordable, safe, and self-reliant.

@jkenney @SohrabAhmari While Sohrab has the least offensive turn against 🇮🇱 among conservatives, it is still disappointing. While this post is helpful, point 3 shows where he’s wrong. I used to enjoy him on @Commentary pod but his break from Commentary marked a shift in thought I’m not comfortable with

Very well put argument about support for Zionism from @SohrabAhmari, in the context of growing antisemitism amongst some on the Catholic right.
Sohrab Ahmari@SohrabAhmari

I’m seeing so much nonsense flying around, I’m compelled to lay down some basics. 1. You don’t need a religious basis for supporting the right of the Jewish people to a national home. I’m a Catholic, so I don’t associate the modern Jewish state with any deep theological or eschatological meaning. I don’t believe the “ingathering of the Jews” in Israel portends the end times. But as a matter of secular justice, I believe that the Jews are entitled to a state. 2. Why? Because the modern world is configured along nation-state lines. And long before the Holocaust, the Jews tried every other means — converting, assimilating, becoming German or French or Russian nationalists, socialism, etc. — and they couldn’t escape persecution. The Holocaust only compounded the urgency of a Jewish state. Afterward, a Jewish state was established and internationally recognized. And here we are. 3. You can criticize the policies and conduct of said Jewish state. I did so, quite vigorously, over the summer. I will continue to criticize its drift toward intolerance, disproportionate warfare, and settler maximalism in the Palestinian Territories. 4. But if you are obsessed with the wrongdoings of one state (and one state only), or if you imbue that state with almost metaphysical evil, or claim to question all nationalisms but only focus on one — that crosses a line into animus. Fin.
