@bentwhee @SW21860 @orensegal In this case, it's a crime, but not because of hate speech. In CA, for safety reasons, it is illegal to attach signs to the bridge and hang them over the side. It *would* be legal if the people were standing there, holding the signs up in the air on poles. They can be ticketed.
