This Women’s Health Month, @SWHR is switching the focus from awareness to systemic policy action. For women, especially those managing chronic diseases like obesity, clinical gaps and outdated coverage policies remain significant barriers to comprehensive care. Closing the health gap requires addressing sex differences in research and the legislative hurdles that block access to necessary obesity treatments.
