🎬🍿 What started as a gritty action movie somehow evolved into one of the biggest cult classics of all time. Patrick Swayze made Dalton iconic, but the late addition of Sam Elliott as Wade Garrett gave the film a level of cool that audiences still talk about decades later. Elliott walked into the movie with that effortless swagger, calm confidence, and old-school toughness that instantly made every scene better. Wade Garrett felt authentic — like a guy who had already lived a hundred bar fights before the cameras even rolled. The fights were chaotic.
The one-liners became legendary.
The atmosphere was pure late-80s insanity. And somehow it all worked perfectly. 37 years later, ROAD HOUSE is still one of those movies people stop and watch the second they find it playing on TV, to this day.

It was his registered UK address when he was begging supporters for donations ahead of the “Unite the Kingdom” rally. Today, that company no longer exists. Thinking Independent Media Ltd, the entity behind Tommy Robinson’s fundraising operation, was officially dissolved on 19 May 2026. The final Gazette notice confirming the strike-off appeared just days after the rally. The company failed to file its first set of accounts, which had been due since November 2025. And this is not an isolated incident. It is a pattern. The Times previously reported that Robinson and associates were linked to a network of companies that generated more than £1.6 million in profits while leaving substantial tax liabilities unpaid. Hope & Pride Ltd reportedly owed HMRC an estimated £317,000 in corporation tax. Freestyle Freelance Ltd, which traded as Urban Scoop, reportedly owed a further £10,750. Companies disappeared. New ones appeared. Then came Thinking Independent Media Ltd. Set up in 2023. No accounts filed. Dissolved in 2026. Yet right up until the “Unite the Kingdom” rally, supporters were still receiving fundraising emails tied to that UK operation. Robinson claimed the event had become “one of the biggest patriotic gatherings Britain has ever seen.” In reality, the rally was nowhere near the scale supporters had promised for months. And far from “uniting the Kingdom”, much of the event descended into the usual anti-Muslim baiting, conspiracy rhetoric and culture war grievance politics that have become Robinson’s entire business model. Now the same operation appears to have shifted to Portugal under the Urban Scoop banner. Same faces. Same messaging. Same donation appeals. And this is the real Tommy Robinson. A man who screams about migrants “taking from Britain” while companies linked to his own operation repeatedly collapse under unpaid obligations and missing accounts. A man who wraps himself in the Union Jack while apparently doing everything possible to avoid properly contributing to the country he claims to love. He tells struggling working people to be patriotic, make sacrifices and defend Britain, while his own financial trail reads like a masterclass in disappearing companies, unpaid liabilities and donation grifting. A manhunt has begun in Great Yarmouth after two teenage girls were raped on South Beach Parade on Saturday, and police are appealing for witnesses. Hypothesis: There is a direct correlation between Anti-Ai sentiment and the inability to visualize things in the mind. It's common to see Anti-Ai people aggressively dismiss the idea that creating visual art is primarily about communicating an internal vision held by the artist. They will sometimes say things such as "the real art is the technical skill to create something" and that "the idea" is virtually worthless, often accusing people of being useless "ideas guys." In reality, the artist's vision is the most important and crucial part of both the creative process and the final artistic expression that others interact with. Without it, the expression devolves to nothing more than a showcase of craft and technical skill, such as a demonstration of the ability to draw straight lines, hold a paintbrush correctly, fret a chord, or operate a camera using an appropriate shutter speed. Art is about communication. It's about the artist transmitting their internal vision, audiation, and emotions to others via some medium. Anyone who does not understand that does not understand what art is. Expressions of craft and technical skill alone are not artwork, they are the means by which artwork can be manifested. This reality can best be seen at the level of the director, such as Hideo Kojima; someone who directs teams of craftsmen and other artists to create a large scale multimedia art piece that's intended to primarily reflect their inner vision. In the right hands, creative Ai tools can be used to manifest an artist's vision extremely effectively, including in ways that weren't possible before the tools existed. For people that can't visualize things in the mind due to physical lack of ability, the above is a completely alien concept. It's unknown to them because the capability is missing from their nervous system. Trying to explain to them what it's like to be able to hear and see entire worlds in your mind would be similar to trying to explain colors to someone who has never seen them before. You can try, but ultimately you can't transmit the experience to them. They're not capable of expressing visual artwork from within themselves, because they have nothing internally to express. At best they can develop the technical craft of expression, which they have come to mistake as "art." So that is why they become confused (and aggressive) when they're exposed to the idea that creative Ai software is just another set of tools in an emerging craft used for artistic expression. They can't see the apple.
