Missed opportunity to feed Carl Rushworth into the England set up.
A huge future and definetly Premier League ready, one of the best shot stoppers about & top distributor.
Criminal really.

Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele is a surprise inclusion in the England squad for the friendlies against Uruguay and Japan. The 35-year-old has never played senior football for his country but did represent Great Britain at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Steele has not made a Premier League appearance this season. 📝 @David_Ornstein bit.ly/4bTbtwl

@henrywinter Why are our governing bodies so averse to ‘mavericks’…..Trent has the X Factor .Tuchels other selections make TAA’s omission even more baffling.
English

Tuchel on ignoring Trent: “I know his strengths. My teams have suffered against him. He's a huge talent. It is a tough decision for Trent." Tuchel wants different profile at r-b. "It’s a ‘sportive’ decision, we stick with Quansah, Spence, Livramento who can play at r-b,” #ENG

@NL_Enterprise @RochdaleAFCcom I wonder if the chairmen of the clubs that have been relegated from league 2 now regret what they voted for 😏

Another title race for the ages 💫
We study Rochdale and York City's run-in, the state of play at the top and both teams' chances
The call for #3UP is growing louder 📢

@officiallydale @CharxRafc I bet no-one takes the mick out of the keepers name ever 🤣

@NormanBrennan Which services would you cut if you reduce the tax take?
English

@BrummieTricky This despicable government could easily cut duty, even if it was temporarily……but they are also complicit in permanently ripping us off 😡

Smith fucking loves playing against Boston doesn't he.

A familiar pattern. Plenty of the ball and control, but nothing to show for it yet.
Boston, compact, look content to wait for the one counter.
Individually though, Dale look confident and are playing well. Just needs that moment to turn the dominance into something tangible.
Rochdale AFC@officiallydale
Dale on top but we head into the break goalless. #rafc

@SWhatmuff @SamHoltom4 @RyanDilks1 Mid table is 13th, it's not "just above mid table".
If it is, so is 6th

Can’t believe how many people are complaining about this:
👉 Fewer dead rubber games at the end of each season - now a battle to finish 3rd/4th as well as in the top 8
👉 More teams have a chance to get promoted - the league’s been dominated by relegated teams in recent years, this makes it harder for them and evens out the playing field
👉 MORE Play-off games! - more entertainment!
👉 The team who finishes 8th could get promoted - so what? The team who finishes 6th can get promoted currently? If you have an issue with this, you have an issue with the entire concept of the Play-offs
This is a great idea 👏

@joshcoles78 @OffTheLineBlog Absolutely spot on…. yet there are still whoppers on here thinking it’s a great idea 🤦♂️
English

Unfortunately it’s all about money now, another chip away at the great game we all love from the powers that be making unnecessary changes.
No team finishing that low after a 46 game season deserves to be promoted thats quite literally how it’s meant to be!
Personally I don’t really like how you can finish 6th and still go up if I’m honest but making it even wider is so shit.
Meanwhile NL etc all have to deal with immensely tough bottlenecks that keep better sides in lower divisions propping up many poor sides from the drop.
English

An all-round incredibly poor decision on so many fronts, I feel.
Promotion should be hard. It is sport. I feel like this is too far on the side of failure.

@SamHoltom4 @matt1081851 @RyanDilks1 No issues with play offs, just don’t agree with a team finishing just above mid table, should have the chance to still get promoted……it’s just a rule change to enable more revenue for yoyo clubs.
Chairman in this position were always going to vote for this.
English

@SWhatmuff @matt1081851 @RyanDilks1 I’m guessing you don’t like the playoffs at all then and believe it should only be the top 3 that go up based on merit?
