@HPG_Farmer We grew spuds for years but gave up due to investment issues. We’re renting out land in rotation for spuds but gave up as it just wrecked the ground with the sheer size of the kit and the deep cultivation. It was good money but took year to recover from

This is the aftermath of intensive potato growing on what was a meadow. Wrecked soil structure, mass soil erosion and total biodiversity absence. Remind me again how replacing grazing with human edible crops helps the environment?
