My issue isn’t even is that a foul but just the consistency of VAR. Rices hold started before Raya was impeded so no pen check? The consistency of VAR is horrific in the same match let alone across the weeks and some (Arsenal, Liverpool) get the rub of the green more than most

As our season is all but over I think there is merit in giving Amad the rest of the season off. Let him have a break ahead of the World Cup – the young lad doesn't seem himself & a break could help him. On the upside we could use Shea Lacey and bleed him into the first team.

@arghkid I think if Carrick goes so does Bruno. Players choice is Carrick. If the board appoint Gareth or Glasner then will be outcry in the stands. Sign him on now so we can plan for next season early & not be left behind silly dallying until late summer when all transfer prices also ⬆️

Unless there’s a manager available with a major European trophy, replacing Carrick feels a bigger risk: especially when the names linked are just as unproven. After ages, players and fans are finally elated. Keep that momentum instead of bringing in question marks for 26/27.

@LiamPaulCanning I’d keep as he loves the club, doesn’t moan at being the reserve, we’ve seen glimpses of what he can do and will get more chances next year with extra fixtures The cost of replacing and risk of unsettling team I don’t see as worth it when we have more pressing positions to sort

Zirkzee's an interesting one. No doubting his technical level, he's right up there, can do and see things most can't in that position. The problem is the lack of numbers and trust he seems to have had so far. Seems to be a real class act off the pitch, too. Does it change for him with more games next season, or is it best to cash in now and replace with a more experienced option. What would you do?
