Presidents shouldn't behave publicly in ways that set a bad example for children. If a president does this regularly, you should not support him. If you do, you'll be likelier to compromise your own morals to accommodate his degeneracy.

I didn't agree with many posts celebrating Kirk's death or misrepresenting his life.
I think that if you're in a public facing job and you celebrate a political assassination, there could and probably should be consequences.
There is a difference between a political assassination and dying of natural causes.

As anti-war as I am, I understand the feeling like people like Bridget have, because I also have empathy for the oppressed people of Iran. So I don’t think it necessarily means someone pro-war to want to help them, and happy when we do something too. Which is why I hate so much about the internet, and how people get labeled so easily like it’s black and white. And in subsequent posts even she is self aware about maybe being naive. The world is complicated, especially issues like this where evil exists, and it’s not as simply as removing it. But I appreciate someone like Bridget who is honest about things.
I’m analytical, and I wish I could see a positive outcome, but of the three models I have come up with, none are good, two mean a lot more death (one is more American death, the other is a gamble that cost a lot more revolutionary death) and the one that admin seems to favor leaves the regime that oppresses it’s people in place.
