@boilerjoe99 @JOBhakdi Delaying or possibly deterring China from invading Taiwan.
Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, Russia, China - it’s all connected. These are pre-emptive moves by the US designed to prevent a more serious conflict later.

@JOBhakdi Smart? What is actually achieving other than chaos? He’s a defective human.

I think his personality has shown (so far) that he is actually smart .
That means this is a bluff.
If I am wrong, it would be a pattern break on his side . Possible , since he is really old, but unlikely .

@JOBhakdi I think Trump is going to escalate based on his personality

@amitisinvesting Just watch @NickGibbsIAG’s latest and don’t worry about it

Futures were ugly. Now they aren’t as ugly.
I wonder if the market might be holding back from pricing in the worst.
More escalation, higher oil, bad for stocks.
Trump has obviously escalated with the blockade.
S&P really not acting like he did…maybe tomorrow morning is when the real action begins but there may be a world where the markets, once again, believe Trump is using this to negotiate and are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt to enter “Round 2” of negotiations.
If we full on escalate at the Strait and start fighting back and forth, it would feel bearish. Trump’s posts make you think that would happen.
The market…which just pulled a +7% move in 2 weeks and took many sectors down like SaaS, might not easily just give back that gain because of the amount of people willing to 1) buy oversold sectors like $IGV and 2) bet that Trump doesn’t go all the way.
Do you think we go back to March 30th lows?

@dotkrueger Dems are peaking too early imo, these numbers will turn once again

@JoeTegtmeyer What’s the explanation behind the difference in the wheels? I’m sure it’s been explained but I missed it.

Today “only” 32 Cybercabs were on the W side outbound lot, but in 3 different groups, one of which was lined up on the W side of the EOL facility & I captured some of these driving into the facility.
I also saw Cybercabs exiting off the main highway & onto the Giga Texas property & driving around the site along with about a dozen at the Crash Testing facility today.
I did not see Cybercabs exiting the factory portal today, but it is a Friday which is a normal non-production day, so that was not surprising.

Most sensible thing I have ever heard from Peter Schiff.
Peter Schiff@PeterSchiff
Taxing non-income-producing property is wrong. Homeowners should not be forced to work to pay "rent" to the government for the privilege of living in their own homes. Property taxes should only be levied on income-producing property, as the income provides a means to pay the tax.

Did you know that you can retire on just $870,000 and NEVER WORK AGAIN?
Did you know your financial advisor has been LYING to your FACE for 30 years?
Bless his heart.
He said you needed $2.5 million to retire on $100K/year.
He has a boat named “Your Fees.”
That advice is dead. I killed it.
You’re welcome.
STRC pays an 11.5% dividend.
Tax-deferred. Paid monthly.
Which means $870,000 - LESS than a median California house that doesn’t even have a yard…
…generates $100K/year FOREVER.
Your advisor’s boat is sinking.
No selling. No rebalancing. No “have you considered your risk tolerance” phone calls at 9am.
Just a number going up in your brokerage account while you drink coffee in a bathrobe at 11am on a Tuesday like God intended.
$870K.
That’s it. That’s the exit number.
Not $2.5M.
Not “grind for 40 years and die with good posture.”
$870,000 and STRC does the rest while you become insufferable at dinner parties.
✅ Retire before your knees give out
✅ Tell your boss what you actually think (do it)
✅ Live off dividends while everyone else lives off vibes
Your financial advisor needs 40 years of your labor to fund his lifestyle.
STRC needs $870K to fund yours.
Choose accordingly.
Buy STRC.
Pocket the yield.
Become the problem.

When your working life rewards you, it’s easy to ratchet up the complexity: homes, cars, travel, possessions etc.
I have found that all that complexity comes at the sake of your most fleeting asset: your time. Instead of building things, all of a sudden you’re dealing with minutiae and logistics. Instead of talking mostly to engineers, you’re talking mostly to non-engineers. The building stops…the business of managing self inflicted complexity begins.
It’s worth noting that the best players in the game (Buffett, Elon) have kept their life extremely basic, almost monastic/nomadic, as success ratcheted them ever higher.
I think it’s the biggest secret hiding in plain sight:
When the world upgrades your status, downgrade your complexity.

Cool thing I learned at the @Tesla Semi factory. The Semi Lead @danWpriestley started at Tesla as an intern and is now heading up this massive program.
Be like Dan, kids.
