1/ Markets move in cycles, not on clocks. The rhythm is similar each time, but the length + intensity vary. Think of it like seasons: spring/summer (liquidity up, risk-on), autumn/winter (liquidity down, risk-off). #Macro #LiquidityCycle

Proton CEO Andy Yen warns that mandatory online age verification could mean the death of anonymity online. He criticizes systems that force users to upload government IDs, passports, facial scans, or biometrics. These rules, Yen argues, would turn the internet into an ID checkpoint, they create massive databases vulnerable to breaches and enable government surveillance, censorship, and the erosion of free speech. Instead, he calls for privacy-first solutions: on-device age checks that verify without storing data, plus stronger parental controls at the device level.

One of my favourite off-the-beaten-path places was trekking Mt Rinjani in Lombok. The views above the clouds make every step worth it. If you go, start early, pack light, bring more water than you think you need, and stay long enough to enjoy sunrise properly. Definitely a spot worth adding to your list @travalacom ⛰️✈️

My Travel Tiger NFT was one of the best decisions I’ve made in crypto. It represents true utility — real Smart member benefits, real travel perks, and real rewards that keep compounding through $AVA. Huge shoutout to @AVAFoundation and @Travalacom for building something I genuinely use. ✈️🐅

If Iran imposed a US$2 million fee per oil tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz, what does that actually mean in fuel-price terms? Here’s the rough math: Assume: • Brent crude ~ US$110/barrel • 1 barrel = 159 litres • Typical tanker example = 1 million to 2 million barrels 1) As a % of oil cargo value For a 2 million barrel tanker: Oil value = ~US$220M Tax = US$2M = ~0.9% of cargo value For a 1 million barrel tanker: Oil value = ~US$110M Tax = US$2M = ~1.8% of cargo value 2) Cost impact per litre of crude For a 2 million barrel tanker: 2M barrels = 318M litres US$2M / 318M L = ~US$0.0063/L = ~0.63 US cents/L Converted to AUD (using ~0.688 AUD/USD inverse basis): = ~A$0.0091/L = ~0.91 Australian cents/L For a 1 million barrel tanker: 1M barrels = 159M litres US$2M / 159M L = ~US$0.0126/L = ~1.26 US cents/L In AUD: = ~A$0.0183/L = ~1.83 Australian cents/L 3) Petrol-only equivalent Because not every litre of crude becomes petrol, the effective cost allocated just to petrol is higher. Using a gasoline yield assumption of roughly 47.2%: 2 million barrel tanker = ~1.33 US cents/L of petrol = ~1.94 Australian cents/L 1 million barrel tanker = ~2.66 US cents/L of petrol = ~3.87 Australian cents/L Bottom line: A US$2M Hormuz tanker fee by itself probably adds roughly: • 0.6 to 1.3 US cents/L at the crude level • 0.9 to 1.8 AU cents/L at the crude level • 1.3 to 2.7 US cents/L if pushed through to petrol only • 1.9 to 3.9 AU cents/L if pushed through to petrol only The real danger, though, is not the flat fee alone. It’s the market reaction. If Brent jumps another US$10/barrel on geopolitical risk, that alone adds about: • ~6.3 US cents/L of crude • ~9.1 A$/barrel equivalent, or ~5.8 AU cents/L of crude So the shipping fee matters — but the bigger driver of bowser prices would likely be the global oil price spike, not just the transit charge itself. #Oil #Iran #Hormuz #EnergyMarkets #FuelPrices #Inflation #CrudeOil #Geopolitics

Anthropic accidentally leaked their entire source code yesterday. What happened next is one of the most insane stories in tech history. > Anthropic pushed a software update for Claude Code at 4AM. > A debugging file was accidentally bundled inside it. > That file contained 512,000 lines of their proprietary source code. > A researcher named Chaofan Shou spotted it within minutes and posted the download link on X. > 21 million people have seen the thread. > The entire codebase was downloaded, copied and mirrored across GitHub before Anthropic's team had even woken up. > Anthropic pulled the package and started firing DMCA takedowns at every repo hosting it. > That's when a Korean developer named Sigrid Jin woke up at 4AM to his phone blowing up. > He is the most active Claude Code user in the world with the Wall Street Journal reporting he personally used 25 billion tokens last year. > His girlfriend was worried he'd get sued just for having the code on his machine. > So he did what any engineer would do. > He rewrote the entire thing in Python from scratch before sunrise. > Called it claw-code and Pushed it to GitHub. > A Python rewrite is a new creative work. DMCA can't touch it. > The repo hit 30,000 stars faster than any repository in GitHub history. > He wasn't satisfied. He started rewriting it again in Rust. > It now has 49,000 stars and 56,000 forks. > Someone mirrored the original to a decentralised platform with one message, "will never be taken down." > The code is now permanent. Anthropic cannot get it back. Anthropic built a system called Undercover Mode specifically to stop Claude from leaking internal secrets. Then they leaked their own source code themselves. You cannot make this up.

Why is $eHex on the RHS, and $PLS on both? 9i labelled it as “a fulcrum” which made it click a little more Teetering control One side vs the other Red vs Blue 5996(RH) vs Maria How to build rigour? Have 2 sides converge on the same goal with different methodologies. $pDai to $1

🤣This is a hilarious montage of Chuck Norris jokes. If you think about it, he really was the first 80’s action hero and pretty much started the genre of 80’s and 90’s action movies.
