Square Enix announced plans to integrate Google’s generative AI model “Gemini” into Dragon Quest X!
- They have developed a companion character called "Oshaberi Slimey" (Chatty Slimey)
- Players can chat to Slimey and it will respond using AI generated text and voice
- It can recognize on screen information, comment on outfit changes or on if a strong enemy is defeated or a rare item is obtained.
