The Committee acted in bad faith by subpoenaing an Agency officer for testimony today without notifying CIA, despite having already obtained closed-door testimony from the individual previously. The witness testifying today is not appearing as a whistleblower in pursuit of the truth, but instead in response to the subpoena issued by Chairman Paul. This proceeding amounts to nothing more than dishonest political theater masquerading as a congressional hearing. As the CIA has already assessed, COVID-19 most likely originated from a lab leak, and efforts to undermine that conclusion are disingenuous.

It’s time to clean house at the CIA. If for whatever reason @CIADirector is unable or unwilling to do that, @DNIGabbard and President Trump should find someone who will get that job done. Share if you agree.

Leaving everything else aside, how is this even a real post in May 2026 under a President Trump administration? These people sound as rogue as ever, which was already obvious when they tried to dismiss the Russiagate hoax as mere “tradecraft errors,” forcing Tulsi Gabbard to step in and publicly call them out. I like John Ratcliffe. He did important work on both Russiagate and Covid origins in the past. But a CIA director who allows this kind of totally inverted garbage to be pushed out under his watch does not appear to have control.

Former CIA Director John Brennan just said the quiet part out LOUD, that there are still a "legion" of bureaucrats within the intel and justice communities who are actively sabotaging the executive authority of President Trump: "There's still a legion of professionals in the law enforcement environment, the Department of Justice, as well as the CIA and other places." Interesting use of the word "legion" there... Real rich coming from the very man who politicized the intelligence community against President Trump.
