Tariffs (lefty policy, Bernie, Warren,et al,) are a tax paid for by consumers. Corp taxes are just as regressive as tariffs.

@SenateBudget Dems have said for decades, SS is NOT a tax. SS benefits cap at a certain level, along with the revenues collected. If you’re proposing to raise SS revenues collected, you’re of course proposing to raise benefits… right… right… You wouldn’t be proposing wealth transfer
