@gphil24 @JaredLee41 @JonahDispatch Taxes=necessary evil, but be honest about them. Corp taxes are paid for consumers, & NOT by the evil corps as dems proclaim. Don’t hide them. Tariffs (lefty policy, Bernie, Warren,et al,) are a tax paid for by consumers. Corp taxes are just as regressive as tariffs.

@Saechum @JaredLee41 @JonahDispatch You have to pay for government one way or another, if you want tariffs instead of corporate tax fine, regressive but a tax. Just don’t say tariffs aren’t a tax. Taxes are a necessity to fund a government, I think most would not question that.

@gphil24 @JaredLee41 @JonahDispatch So you’re saying tariffs are taxes that get passed along to and paid for by consumers…??? (btw you are correct). Now apply your logic to corporate taxes… guess who really pays those….? (Hint: the answer is the same, consumers)

@MarkWarner Serious question, how do you know how many non- citizens voted when you don’t check IDs and don’t know who actually cast the ballot? Especially in states like CA with mandatory mail in ballots and vote harvesting?

Noncitizen voting is extraordinarily rare – in many audits, less than one hundreth of one percent of all votes cast. The SAVE Act is a total sham, cracking down on a problem that isn’t real.

@nah_chief____ @hyphhytv @greendragonhq @grok Uhhh…. Jacob made the claim that “Newsome destroyed” CA (we can argue if that’s fact or opinion 😜). Grok responded with a list of facts showing how CA has deteriorated under complete Dem rule for past 20+yrs.

How can Republicans with a straight face say that Gavin Newsom destroyed California, then look at states like: Alabama Arkansas Kentucky Oklahoma Missouri Mississippi Louisiana Indiana And say these states are doing better ?

@greendragonhq @trevor454545 Yeah, CA lost a seat in the 2020 census, should’ve lost one more but for a botched census. CA has had negative interstate migration for >20yrs, increasing over the past 5. ONLY intl immigration legal/illegal is adding to CA population, but < than US overall & << Red states

@allenanalysis Lies, damn lies, and Dem politicians Income of $184k pay $23k in SS Income of $1m (pay $23k in SS Why…? Because they receive the EXACT same benefit. Both contributions AND benefits are capped. Are you proposing to increase both contributions AND benefits?

MURRAY: Under $184k pays 12.4% Social Security tax? DAHL: Yes. MURRAY: $1M? DAHL: 2.2%. So: Workers: 12.4% Millionaires: 2.2% Billionaires: effectively near zero Same system. Different rules. We need a new Congress.

@ApexPath500 @4TaxFairness You obviously don’t understand the difference between marginal and effective tax rates. The top 1% pay a higher percentage of all income taxes today than when the top bracket was 90%

BREAKING: Elizabeth Warren, with Reps. Jayapal and Boyle, just dropped the ULTRA-MILLIONAIRE TAX ACT. The bill creates a 2% wealth tax on $50 million households, and an additional 1% wealth tax on billionaires. It raises $6.2 TRILLION from just 260,000 households. Obvious W.

@SaraForTexLege The “rich” those who pay the vast majority of taxes…? Top 1% pay 40% of the taxes and top 10% pay ~75%. You mean those rich….?? You ought to saying “thank you” to those who are actually paying the taxes instead of demonizing them in your class war.

Me: Tax the rich Q: But what about all the waste, fraud and abuse? Me: investigate and prosecute waste, fraud and abuse AND tax the rich. Q: But the rich create jobs Me: Great. So they can enjoy the profits created from that labor AND pay taxes on that profit. Q: It will just make them leave America. Me: There is no tax haven in the world like the American tax haven. No they won’t. Q: Our national debt is because spending is out of control! Me: It is, but that is also something that rich people have trained you to say so that you’ll argue that they shouldn’t be taxed. Create Medicare for all ($600 billion in savings), cut the military budget in half ($500 billion). There’s a trillion right there. AND tax the rich. Q: …. Me: Exactly. Tax the rich.

@lawindsor Source is “author’s interpretation” of the American Community Survey, which does NOT track the immigration status of inmates. States (blue sanctuary states in particular) purposely do not track these details. Real source: “trust me bro” Nice propaganda 🤦🏼‍♂️

@iamborggggg @skye_gary @rcbregman @stevecstny And no other country has such a skewed tax base, with half the population with no skin in the game and just take. Not coincidentally we now have $39T in debt, because half the country, not paying ANYTHING, don’t care how the $$ are wasted.

MURRAY: Is it true that people making under $184k pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate? DAHL: Yes. MURRAY: And the rate for someone making $1 million? DAHL: 2.2%. MURRAY: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184k, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.

@SenateBudget Dems have said for decades, SS is NOT a tax. SS benefits cap at a certain level, along with the revenues collected. If you’re proposing to raise SS revenues collected, you’re of course proposing to raise benefits… right… right… You wouldn’t be proposing wealth transfer

@fawfulfan Sorry govt schools have shown their disdain for women, science and reality with their inabilty to determine what a woman is. Keep men out of women’s spaces/ locker rooms, bathrooms, and sports. Women worked hard to be treated equally via Title IX, which the woke are destroying

Democrats should have a simple, stock answer on the trans athlete issue: "Leave it to schools and sports leagues to figure out what's fair and stop playing politics."
Peter Hamby@PeterHamby

New for @PuckNews A Democratic think tank isn’t sure their party has figured out how to talk about trans issues Their polling suggests a way forward on trans rights — but Dems might have to concede defeat on the youth sports fight puck.news/texas-senate-r… @PuckNews
