@P_Kallioniemi Coke Zero is the only irreplaceable item, but there are production sites in Canada employing local people, I don't boycott systematically. I stopped buying so many grocery products coming directly from the USA and replaced them with Canadian and European ones, it is easy breezy.

@P_Kallioniemi I am pretty sure I will miss travelling to California, especially Huntington Beach. But something tells me this MAGA biohazard won't survive the next election. After that, they need to apologize and compensate, and I will be back. If not, there are many great places to travel to

Because she is not being indoctrinated in the Parks... My wife and I are with her every second we are there... We are riding the rides and she is meeting the princesses... I feel also the Americans who know are only the ones who are eager to learn and be informed. Most people nowadays lack the will to educate themselves above the rudimentary. And if they are not taught the right way at school if they do not question things the result is the ignorance you are talking about. I know so many educated Americans (both sides of political spectrum) and they feel really bothered by this as well.

The lack of knowledge amongst many Americans here on X when it comes to the last 120 years of European history is worrying. Hollywood rewriting historical events, too much MAGA nationalist hubris and an insufficiently broad education are the apparent reasons. I’ve huge respect for the USA and am honoured to have spent time in Washington DC - White House, State Dept. Pentagon etc - and 27 months in Helmand with the US Marines, but if you have the wrong information, you will make bad decisions, no matter how strong you are.
