Yesterday at 7:38 PM EST, Steven (@Alladdin1983) posted that the 2nd airman from the downed F-15 had been rescued. At least half the comments were negative. Someone called it 'fake news,' and when I politely replied, 'I trust this source — give it a little time,' he blocked me. The reason I trust him? I've communicated with Steven outside the platform, and after following him closely, I've seen zero contradictions or clickbait. When we find credible voices like this on X, we should promote them and benefit from their sources. If we all paused for a moment, paid closer attention, and separated the factual posts from the clickbait, those fake accounts churning out garbage would lose their audience. Like a child acting out for attention — ignore them, and they usually stop. If you're not already following @Alladdin1983, you should. He's not making things up for clicks. Steven represents the future of X journalism, alongside other solid accounts. Can we at least show him the respect he deserves? You don't guess about something this serious for engagement. If he were wrong or lying, I'd have dropped him long ago — and so would many other longtime users. Also, Happy Easter everyone — have a great day! 🙏
