So proud! It truly is the greatest trading workshop out there! When do you have the chance to learn from the best of the best like @markminervini @dryan310 and Mark Ritchie II? My favorite section was "Mind Blowing Math" - amazing. Can truly recommend to join MPA and MTP 💯

Character change (Swing in RS Line) beginning end of 2022. More than 2 years ago. In my observation, it's only a matter of time before opportunity losses (declining relative strength) are accompanied by price losses. William O'Neill's CANSLIM criteria are, in my opinion, very helpful. He defined an RS rating of less than 70 as a potential sell trigger. UNH has been far from that for a long time.

@SaftmanWiki Das Ende war tatsächlich nahe, aber anders als viele geglaubt haben 😅 schon wild, dass wir einen Markt haben, der auf Grund von präsidialen Kurznachrichten 10% hoch und runter rauschen kann

A study was done on 77,000 accounts at a large discount broker from 1990 to 1996. The findings revealed: 1. Investors are more likely to allow a stock to reach a large loss than they are to allow a stock to attain a large gain; they hold losers too long and sell winners too quickly. 2. The probability of buying additional shares is greater for shares that have lost value than it is for shares that have gained value. Investors may readily double down their bets when stocks decline in value. 3. Investors are more likely to take a small gain than a small loss. The results would be no different 50 years ago, or 50 years from now.

This 40-year-old chart reminds me of recent big winners like $ALAB, $RDDT, $CWAN, $DUOL, $PAY, $RKLB, $PLTR. Why? Patterns repeat. 📈 What you're seeing is a 'long-term IPO base': a top IPO stock correcting with the market, finding a bottom, and rising again with the bull market. These patterns repeat across cycles, offering multiple opportunities to trade young IPOs that can make massive moves. The stock market changes names, but the patterns stay timeless. That’s why I stick to this proven approach! 🚀

Slow day/week here but I remember in the early days when I had gone on my own with trading being at Holiday parties and making the mistake of telling people what I did (I now try and avoid such conversations when I can unless there's some valuable contrarian info, another great story on that later). A friend was asking my opinion (which isn't worth much to begin with) on where I thought the market was going and an older gentlemen overheard, interrupted and proceeded to lecture us on how you had to always be in the market because 'you can't time the market...we know that.' I kept my mouth shut and then after he got done lecturing he asked what we both did for a living. My buddy said he was a teacher and then he motioned to me and I smiled and politely said, 'I time the market.' The end.

#aktien
