If you are opening any retail store which requires furniture, do not, I repeat DO NOT get your furniture made from local carpenter. 99% of the times, you will have to get it repaired within 6 months & that cost will be added to operational expenses, giving you huge headache too!

@DividendBreeder We have taught our children to become consumers. Going out to eat was a big deal growing up. Now I see 20 year old having door dash and other luxuries layed at their feet. You must live within your means if you want to grow wealth.

boomers: study easy, work hard, stay in the same job for 30 years, get married at the right age, save money in FD, RD, buy real estate with whatever amount possible, look at credit card as a sin. retire. die. millennials: study hard, fight to get into a decent college, get started with some job, work hard, start off investing on a wrong note because of advice from boomers, do LIC for 10 years, then later realise you have lost the prime compounding years, to compensate go hard on FnO, lose money, finally reach a point to get back to SIP, delayed marriage, real estate beyond reach, still grind at work because some values instilled, slog it at work to build wealth. after all this, get disillusioned with life. gen z: study, get into college, get some random job, at the slightest inconvenience quit. accept the reality from the beginning. how will India keep growing if we have a deteriorating population that gets disillusioned with growth?
