New data from 10,421 patients with metabolic syndrome: the C-reactive protein-triglyceride-glucose index (CTI) outperformed 23 cardiometabolic markers — including TyG, CRP, NLR, and non-HDL-C — as a predictor of CV mortality. Patients in the highest CTI quartile had a 60% higher risk of CV death.
