This is how MSEDCL (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited) has quietly burned your pockets in this scortching heat of summer 🏝️ 🌞 Today I just paid electricity bill of 15960. And I was shocked because last year I had just paid around 7500 rs same time around. My consumption of units were just around 50% more, so naturally my bill should also have been around 11000 but I had to pay almost 16000. So here's what MSEDCL did this year👇 Last year for consumption around 750 units ,my bill was around 7500. This year for around 1200 units, my bill was 16000. What MSEB did is they had increased per unit rate of 10 rs to 15 for units consumed above 300 to 500 and rs 17 for units consumed above 500. This is so unfair in where the temperatures are getting high every year and don't the citizens common rights to have cooling equipments running at lower cost in these times? This is pure LOOT.

Eight years ago, a young man joined State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer. Today, he is a Scale 3 Manager, and his Form 16 for FY 2025-26 shows a Gross Salary of ₹35.24 lakh. At first glance, the figure looks huge But the reality is quite different. The gross salary includes LFC Encashment and Leave Encashment, which are one time benefits received only once every four years, not part of the regular monthly salary. On top of that, there are monthly deductions for Income Tax, NPS, EPF, Home Loan EMI, Car Loan, and Two Wheeler Loan. So, the Gross Salary mentioned in Form 16 can be very different from the actual amount credited to the bank account every month.
