It's been over a week since this post to the shameless folks at @Spotify, and the illegal links with LT courses are still active. In fact, more links have been brought to my attention (below). It is the same uploader as before, with the same image. I refuse to police Spotify myself for this, and fill out this 5-page form (support.spotify.com/us/report-cont…) for each link every time someone has the bright idea to charge for my free material, especially when the courses get re-uploaded straight away. Spotify keeps repeating they expect me to do this, and so I keep repeating I expect them to hire an administrator for me if that's the case! Spotify needs to take 100% responsibility for these infringements instead of externalising the costs onto creators like a BULLY. Why should someone who runs a project like LT by themselves and entirely off of donations have to spend time making sure 33-billion dollar companies are doing their job? Disgusting, really. I'll be reposting this weekly until Spotify stops breaking the law. If you want to help, cancel your Spotify account and tell them why, contact a pro-bono lawyer, or simply share this post. If you love that independent creators still exist, defend them. Dear @Spotify Once again, I received an email this morning from a user of my project about someone stealing my material to host, and make money from, on your platform. I am ONE PERSON, who has worked an insanity-inducing amount to create this project from nothing. I have exhausted and even damaged myself doing it. This isn't my brand image, it's just the truth. And so, it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth to have your 33 billion dollar company (and some shameless uploader) earning money on my material without my consent, and to have you brazenly put the onus on me to police this. Yes I can fill out a form about it, but I do not have time to scan your platform for my material, nor to fill out that pages-long request for it to be taken down, or to follow up (since you are so bad at it). I simply cannot manage this admin, nor should I have to. I communicated this to you the last time this happened and asked if you had some AI that could scan your site for my voice. It is, after all, your responsibility to make sure your platform is not being used for theft. I also asked about the funds that whoever steals the material earns. You sent me short and dismissive non-answers. Spotify pretends to care about independent content creators, yet puts the entire onus on not being robbed onto independent content creators. Being an independent creator, that's an onus I cannot bare. I'm sure that Spotify has a moral and legal responsibility to spend some of its vast fortune on correcting this problem. I will be seeking legal intervention from organisations like @EFF, and meanwhile hope to receive some more comprehensive answers from Spotify about these concerns. @bd_in_germany @ABaerbock @BDMOFA @GermanEmbassyBD It's encouraging to hear that there is a possibility of reducing the waiting period for Bangladeshi students' student visas. While it's a positive step, I believe it's important to also emphasize the need for tangible and visible progress in this matter soon. Thank You Sir.

So the problem is not only with Canada. Our Govt. Should tell the Dhaka based Ambassadors of these countries to tell their respective governments to clear all this backlog and unnecessary delay.
