@SongezoZibi If a person just want to skip work, he/she will skip dispensary the medication gives an idea. Most go to dr’s just to run errands and dr’s know and they just want to take your R600.

I agree the certificates give no insight in terms of what’s wrong, making them useless to the commission. But then all sick notes are written like that. I’ve never seen one stating an illness. A medical report does, not a sick note for leave of absence.
Newzroom Afrika@Newzroom405

[WATCH] “I noticed that this is one of those medical certificates - the nature of which I have previously said are useless. It’s one of those useless so-called medical certificates,” says Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga about IDAC head Andrea Johnson's sick note. Her appearance at the #MadlangaCommission was postponed because her legal representative said she was rushed to hospital today.

#CountryDuty Breaking News #CatMatlala legal representative has informed the Court that Matlala intends to withdraw from the Plea Agreement with the #IDAC This means the evidence NPA had sought to rely on against various witnesses will fall away. Court has adjourned fora few minutes for Matlala to liaise with his attorney on this.

BREAKING NEWS🔥🔥🔥🔥 Jacob Mamabolo as the MEC of COGTA in Gauteng has been given 7 days to answer about the mess in Ekurhuleni. I asked him direct questions months ago and they kept giving PR answers and dodging. The DA has now given him 7 days. There’s no running away now. More IS LOADING. 🫠🫠 I WARNED THEM. @GDCoGTA

BREAKING: *PRESIDENT RAMAPHOSA GRANTS EXTENSION OF MADLANGA COMMISSION REPORT DEADLINE* President Cyril Ramaphosa has extended the final report deadline of the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry into Criminality, Political Interference, and Corruption in the Criminal Justice System. The Commission will submit its report on Monday, 16 November 2026, instead of 31 August, as anticipated originally. The extension granted by the President sets an evidence deadline of Friday, 2 October 2026, and a reporting deadline of Monday, 16 November, to enable the Commission to close off topics it has opened up in the course of hearings to date. The extension allows the Commission to hear evidence on all of the matters listed in its terms of reference. Without an extension, the Commission will have to leave large parts of its work unfinished. President Ramaphosa once again expresses his deepest appreciation for the work conducted by Commission as well as for the manner in which law enforcement agencies are following up testimony emerging from Commission hearings.
