How is getting $8 billion from State coffers and $2.3 billion from deferring pension payments bringing a budget down to zero?
The same NYC taxpayers that pay the bulk of NYC taxes are paying the $8 billion of state taxes that are funding the budget gap.
This budget ‘fix’ is robbing Peter to pay Paul and it didn’t work out well for either of them.

2. UAE wanted to keep Netanyahu’s visit a secret and they officially denied it immediately. This means that Netanyahu played the UAE and tweeted about his visit to the UAE without UAE’s prior knowledge. Again a diabolical move.
3. UAE panicked after Abbas Aragchi’s Tweet and issued an official denial to calm things down and water down the issue.

I have paid over $10B in taxes in a single year, more than anyone in history.
If I exercise and sell stock options, the combined federal and state income tax is ~45% (I still pay California taxes for every day I spend there).
Then there is another 40% tax paid on my estate when I die.
Overall, I will probably end up paying trillions in taxes.
