@Mel_ReidTimes Thanks for responding. I guess it’s down to the individual…we tend to say our daughter has dwarfism, but some adults with achondroplasia are comfortable with ‘dwarf’. Ideally a label wouldn’t be used at all but hey, for now I’ll settle for the banishment of the M word forever
@Sallym100 Sincere apologies. I had no idea it was considered a hate word. Please tell me, is 'dwarf' acceptable in a non-specialised sense? You see I'm very tall and I just sought a punchy expression for someone very much smaller than me.
