While travelling from Gilgit to Chitral yesterday, I was overwhelmed by the sight of women, children, and the elderly marching towards the Didar Gah in Parwak in the freezing cold at 2:30AM.

رواں مالی سال 2025-26 کے دوران پاکستان میں کی جانیوالی مجموعی غیر ملکی سرمایہ کاری کی مالیت پنجاب حکومت کے لگژری جہاز Gulfstream جی 500 کی مالیت سے بھی کم ہو چکی ہے۔ اسٹیٹ بینک اۤف پاکستان کے مطابق رواں مالی سال کے پہلے دس ماہ( جولائی 2025 سے اپریل 2026) کے عرصے کے دوران پاکستان میں ہونیوالی کُل/مجموعی غیر ملکی سرمایہ کاری صرف 31.7 ملین ڈالرز رہی ہے جبکہ دوسری جانب پنجاب حکومت کی جانب سے خریدے گئے لگژری جہاز کی قیمت کا تخمینہ 38 ملین ڈالر سے 42 ملین ڈالرز تک ہے۔۔۔یعنی اتنی مجموعی غیرملکی سرمایہ کاری پورے ملک میں نہیں اۤئی جتنے کا ہمارا ایک صوبہ ایک لگژری جہاز پر سرمایہ کاری کر چکا ہے۔۔۔پاکستان میں ٹوٹل فارن انوسٹمنٹ سے متعلق اسٹیٹ بینک اۤف پاکستان کے تازہ ترین اعدادوشمار ملاحظہ فرمائیں۔۔۔
