this might be the most ironic story in the entire solana ecosystem. i lived it. still living it, actually. and i genuinely believe its potential is one of the best in all of crypto. i'm 24. quit my job a year and a half ago to do crypto full time. 7 months ago i got rugged on the original https. it was bundled, farmed, everything wrong with the trenches in one launch. but i loved the meme so much i top blasted it anyway, actually alongside @Pattyice, and we both got rugged together. i wanted to CTO it but the dev was farming creator rewards acting like he didn't just pull the rug. so i relaunched it myself. 35 hours straight on livestream, building and bagworking in real time. 48 hours later we hit 4.2m and got listed everywhere you normally have to pay for. moonshot, coingecko, cmc, all of it. didn't pay a dime. then the https market played out in real time. ironically, on a coin called https, that i got rugged on in the first place. we bled from 4.2m to 200k. i doubled down. bought over 20% of supply with my own money (after locking 20% already) because we had a community and an honest, original meme. i poured 100k+ in creator rewards back into the chart, the marketing, the giveaways. made tshirts by hand. printed stickers with pump fun QR codes. streamed for months. my artist has put hundreds of hours into 700+ original pieces. this community has built more content in 7 months than most coins produce in a lifetime. and then i ran out. sold 70k worth of my own money at a loss with the chart at 16k. not because i stopped believing. because there was nothing left to give. a month and a half ago i wrote about all of it. those posts did over 1M views. and https ran from 16k to 1.2m without me holding a single dime. the og community never left. new believers came in. devs dm'd me saying they lived the same story. holders told me it was the first time a dev felt real to them. since then i've been collecting creator rewards to slowly make back what i lost, but more importantly to sustain https and build the plan to make it the meme of the trenches. because for a year and a half this entire space has talked about one thing. nobody believes anymore. everyone https's everything. attention came and went. new dogs launched right as we were breaking out and the spotlight rotated, like it always does. that part doesn't bother me anymore. attention is a loan. the story is the asset. and ours is the most human one on this blockchain. we're trying to be the change we want to see in this space. not with a catalyst. not with a promise. with 5 letters everyone on earth already recognizes, a community that refuses to die, and a story that keeps getting deeper. at the end of the day i'm just a believer who never gave up on a meme he loves. it's an https market. it always has been. and the best chapter hasn't been written yet
