@US_Stormwatch So sad. My aunts house burned down. She lived right off Front Street. My kids are over there visiting their other aunt and have a stay in order. The only grocery store open is a 4 hour wait. Everything on the island is pretty much closed. There are multiple fires.

New video from Front Street shows virtually all of downtown Lahaina has been burned down.

We were at Hyatt Maui Resort and Spa. The fires were fast approaching and was within a mile. They kept telling us the road up north was closed. We left at 6am up north and the road was OPEN. Unfortunately, there is no cell connection in west Maui. #mauifire #westmaui #hyattmaui
