One thing that confuses me about players in T20 leagues.
They’ll sign up for some random new/low tier tournament for low money (to them, & if they get paid!) for a couple of weeks, but then for a big league, have a high reserve price.
Why should their day rate be any different for any league?

Hearing today's EUT20 final is in jeopardy. Bruges players didn't turn up for their match against Antwerp on Friday due to payment issues, handing Antwerp a win by default. No social media posts about the game from either side.

@rosiecatrinamae Do you actually want women to play tests? Personally I think it stretches limited resources for no reason (if only to copy the men’s game which isn’t a good idea). Without the pace - it also makes for a really poor watch.

Stokes is spot on, couldn’t agree more with everything he has said.
After playing all the group stage matches, why wouldn’t a player want to try and finish the job in the knockout matches as opposed to playing a relatively low profile bilateral match?
Might also be worth considering why this Test was scheduled so close to the end of the IPL, making this issue a likely self fulfilling prophecy for a player (whoever they are) at some stage.
