My friend tried to withdraw £20k from his high street bank & their response was shocking For 30 years he’s has been a loyal customer of this major bank He called to withdraw the money & they said no, you have to come into the branch He went into the branch & asked asked to withdraw the £20k and they asked 'what it’s for'? He said ’none of your business, it’s my money’ They said ‘unless you can tell us exactly what the money is for, you cannot withdraw it' This should shock & terrify you, because your own money isn’t even yours anymore

@WG_RumblePants @StickToCricket Bowling is key finding a partner for Tongue who can play more than 2 tests, a top class spinner who can bowl all day too. Then reading the game situation we should never be 100 ahead on 2nd day and lose before the end of play.

@StickToCricket Their inability to adapt, change gear and dig in. Sometimes attack is the right answer. It’s not always the right answer.
All that said, we need to find some bowlers who can genuinely intimdate and unnerve the opposition. We don’t really have any. That’s the bigger issue.

The case for Royal Navy SSKs - real ones, not glorified sonobuoys* that we hope/pretend will suffice - is overwhelming.
“But they don’t have an SSN’s range!” Yes, but in the GIUK Gap, Med, Mid-Atlantic, S Atlantic, or even Gulf/Malacca/Mid-IO, they’re always near UK bases.
