Villeneuve deliberately alters Herbert's characters to make them fitting for the progressive consumer. A bad guy can't be gay. Movie Harkonnens are only ever shown with female concubines. A woman can't be fanatically in love with her husband. Movie Chani must be a girlboss. A group of natives can't just consider the European guy a savior. Movie Fremen must have a faction that distrusts Paul from the start, the girlboss included, or it'd be a heckin' colonialism. Can't even wait a little to show the Fremen opposition in Messiah, where the author had it for great reasons. And you shouldn't imagine that things could be any other way in a fictional universe.

Alt perspective on this: If a leader takes time off offered by organization, he makes it ok for other people who work under him to do the same. It establishes a boundary that can help with culture. There have been NUMEROUS stories in recent yrs of coaches saying they want their coaches to go home for dinner… that don’t glamorize sleeping on a couch in your office. Work smarter, not harder. If they’d won, this note would be featured in an article about ways he changed the culture. They didn’t… and so we’re here.

No, I’m saying that the altitude and the crowd had nothing to do with the Broncos winning that game. And the loss to the Raiders was in the first game of the year with a brand new coaching staff, which is essentially a fourth preseason game - you’re really grasping at straws 🙄 The Pats smoked the Giants and the Giants scored like 400 points against the Broncos in the fourth quarter …I mean are we really going to engage in this stupidity?

The Broncos can upset the Patriots in the AFC Championship game if they do the SAME FOUR THINGS they did when they upset New England in 2016. Broncos fans... it's not crazy to believe. 1... In the 2016 AFC Championship the Patriots were an abysmal 2/15 on 3rd Down, averaging 9.3 yards to go across their 15 tries. Though the Broncos OFFENSE was not great on 3rd down, they still had triple the Pats 3rd down conv… Before anything else, the Broncos gotta win on third down., which they’ve done at a higher rate both offensively and defensively than NE this season 2... Even though Brady’s offense in 2016 was pass heavy, that Broncos defense held the patriots to 2.6 YPC when they did run the ball. A large reason they were dealing with an average of 3rd & 9 was because they couldn’t stay ahead of the chains through the run game. The Patriots are averaging a solid 4.1 YPC thru two games against good run defenses, but if the Broncos can bottle them up, they’ll set themselves up even better for point 1. 3... Denver picked Brady off twice a decade ago, one of which set up a TD. Denver’s offense only gave it away once on a reviewed backwards pass that they absolutely could have avoided. The Patriots turned THAT into a TD. Take care of the ball, and take it away. 4... But finally, you need the true gamewrecker performance. Back in 2016, Von Miller had 2.5 sacks, a pick, and completely annihilated the Patriots offensive line in a game where Denver walked in as a big underdog. This Patriots O-Line is worse statistically than the 2016 one, and have given up 5 sacks in each of their two playoff games, so the Broncos NEED something special from Nik Bonitto... It’s a tall task, but if Denver does those 4 things, they can walk away victorious. #BroncosCountry

Good work, you have angered me. That usually takes some effort. I care about what strangers do because I am fat. I am fat because my mother was not home and did not cook homemade meals, instead going to work and then complaining about how exhausted she was to cook food once she got home. That is why I entered adulthood as an already fat person, by the way, with a huge debt in loans from my parents. This is something that should never happen to anyone, and if you do not want to blame me for my actions as a child who did not know better, then do not state that I am responsible for my decisions as a 7-year-old child. If you do, you should be silent on that topic. And if you want to know, yes, I am prepared to take away the rights and freedoms of anyone, men or women alike, to ensure that any child will enters adulthood as fat anymore.
