Went to a sports bar today to watch the tournament. We'd been there before, good food, good beer. Walked in and they had zero tournament games on. "Working on it." After one beer they still had zero games on. Mostly baseball and football re-runs on the TVs...a few TVs with a tournament app on, but "free trial expired.". Obviously, we left. I still don't actually understand any of it. How do you own a "sports bar" and not plan on having all the games on all day on one of the most important sports days of the year?

NEWS: BJ Edwards won’t play tonight for SMU against Miami (OH) University in the First Four, per a source. SMU is optimistic about his availability if they advance. Corey Washington will play for SMU, he’d been considered questionable.

But even if it was the first hand and the dealer was still shuffling, then the butterfly effect still changes everything. Even a slight glance at the new player.

Had to give up my #poker seat for customer. Makes quads over top full in first orbit. He’s laughing at me saying look what you would have had. It amazes me that people don’t understand that it wouldn’t have happened if I was still sitting there. Actually blows my mind

This is like the "Dropping the football" at the goal line thing. That's at least 3 times this week that this has happened.
Refs swallowed the whistle all 3 times, but eventually someone is gonna have to be made an example of to stop it from happening.

Sean Miller absolutely lost his mind on Texas assistant coach Ryan Anderson for running on the court after Tramon Mark’s game-winning shot. Credit to the officials for not letting that ruin a great ending, but probably could have been a technical foul.

@John_Fanta 2 challenges already slows the game down a ton. If you do 3 (or unlimited if you get them all right) it would slow games even more.
4 possible extra stoppages outside of timeouts is already more than enough.

Total sidenote: Makes no sense in college basketball that if a coach is successful on 2 challenges, they don't get a third. A coach shouldn't get that ability taken away from them if they are successful twice. Think it's in the best interest of CBB to amend that.

Kinda nuts that dating back to January 18th, Florida State is the 27th best team in the country on Torvik. Basically two months of being the equivalent of a 6 or 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Really excited to see what this turns into

Playing a fun, modern style and they are hard to guard.
Doing this on one of the lowest NIL budgets in the Power 5.
If FSU gets its priorities right, this hire will deliver big things.

Just because you have a timeout doesn't mean you should call it. Duke is the best defensive team in the country. Letting them set up their half-court D and having 3-4 seconds to get a shot is not a great formula. Rob getting a look in transition is as good as you can ask for IMO.
