@c_ollerenshaw @mathsjem @river_maths @missradders I give them chance to look through the whole paper and have a go in advance. Some students then like looking at alternative strategies with pointers on what is likely to pick up partial marks /ways into the answer.

Any opinion or advice about how best to run a walking talking mock? Do you simply talk students through each question and model solutions? Or do you give them time to attempt the qns first? Or is there another/better way? @mathsjem @river_maths @missradders

@CharlotteOrpe I don't have a Maths degree (even if it might have been very mathsey). And less than half of my department have actual 'Maths' degrees, including the current and previous Head of Department.
