Just got out of @iloveboostersmv . Visually a fascinating movie. It took a lot of risks. Certainly much more upbeat than its spiritual predecessor Sorry to Bother You.
But also I felt like Jianhu’s character fell into some stereotypic and racist tropes.

Hot take, but I actually think it's more satisfying to see him slowly lose literally everything he ever found joy in, rather than just killing him outright. I want to see him sad and alone and hated by everyone who ever made the mistake of tolerating him.
