Since joining BasiGo in February 2025 as Head of Vehicle Asset Financing, Jones has played a critical role in shaping and scaling innovative financing solutions to make electric buses more accessible to operators.
He has led the asset financing portfolio in Rwanda, driving financial, legal, tax, and risk analysis, while also advancing key stakeholder engagements and strategic partnerships that support our growth.
In his new role, Jones will lead BasiGo Rwanda’s next phase of growth, accelerating e-mobility adoption and strengthening partnerships with stakeholders across the country.
With his strong background in mobility financing, partnerships, and strategic development, we are confident that Jones will continue building on the solid foundation already established and help accelerate the transition to clean, electric public transport in the country.
