@ATRightMovies Thought it was standard practice to show the film before the premiere to producers, the actors etc. Never thought the premiere was the very first time anyone saw the finished products. Unless this occurs for eccentric big named directors like Malick etc.

Terrence Malick shot so much footage for THE THIN RED LINE, huge cuts were needed. So many famous actors were cut down in editing that Adrien Brody went to the premiere thinking he was the lead, only to find he barely appeared in the finished film
