@WilliamRAguilar I say go after the creative house 2 that Ubisoft has with the division, ghost recon and splinter cell ip’s. That gives them 2 established gaas games that will bring in a steady stream of revenue.

Despite the rocky road ahead and layoffs to come, everything happening now and in the near future will all be in preparation for a better and brighter future. I don't agree with shutting down studios to accomplish this because I believe Sony could eat the costs and redirect the studios to work on different projects but ultimately I trust and support Hideaki Nishino to lead PlayStation to that brighter future with the focus being: A Prioritization Back to Single Player Games, The Next Gen PS6, The PS6 Handheld, Less Native PC & Mobile Games/Ports, & Instead Creating the All-In-One Sony/PlayStation+ Streaming app for Movies, Shows, Anime, Games, & Music.

In 2023 & 2024 I advocated for Hideaki Nishino to be appointed CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment/PlayStation after Jim Ryan's retirement and after Hiroki Totoki's Temporary Chairmanship would end. In my conversations with fellow Analysts, Executives, & ADR/Shareholders these were the reasons I supported him: 🔵1️⃣ An Understanding & Focus on PlayStation Console Hardware As The Primary Platform Priority. 🔵2️⃣ A Love of Classic PlayStation Games from the PS1 & PS2 generations and a fondness for Co-Op games. 🔵3️⃣ A Japanese executive that has been with Sony for years and appreciates the culture with an understanding of what worked in the past, what's happening in the present, & what plans can be made to reach a better future. He has a great vision to guide the future of PlayStation, with an appropriate amount of caution and flexibility to overcome challenges. I was excited to hear that the guy I wanted was picked to become the sole CEO of SIE and I enjoyed listening to his comments at last year's Business Segment Meeting. Despite some unfortunate rumors and news, there is a bright future ahead for PlayStation and I greatly look forward to this year's G&NS (Games & Network Services) Business Segment Meeting & the next PlayStation Games Presentation later this Spring (May/June)! @Crispybomb Where in that statement did he say something wrong? I know a lot of guys want to claim he hates Xbox which doesn’t make sense considering his positioning the industry. But there’s nothing in this statement that’s slanderous towards anyone.

Just tried FSR Upscaling 4.1 in a few PC games. It’s based on the same neural network as the upgraded PSSR we released for PS5 Pro… and it looks stunning! Wonderful working with @jackhuynh and the @AMD team as we collaborate on AI graphics tech. Big win for Project Amethyst :-)

When I came back to PC gaming in 2000, one of the first things I jumped on was the Rainbow Six franchise, and then later Ghost Recon. I know the studio has been driven more and more into the background over the years, but, this is...no bueno...
