I believe I won this award for a paper titled "Changes in religion and class structure shown through burial practices in England after the fall of Rome." This was 3-4 years before ChatGPT launched. It's very funny to hear stories about the AI-generation of college students.

@HungarianFalcon I don't think we ever got to 8-10 in high school, but we did have some timed written exams (technically typed on a computer) that got to 5+ pages. I was a slow typer though. The longest research paper I did in high school was only 7 pages or so.

@Sam_Teets33 There were HS literature classes where I wrote 8-10 pages in an hour for a test. Would have been 1987-89. It was the only time I reported to class as early as possible - tests in those classes. An absolute race to get those tests done.

@FBallAnalysisYT My favorite part is that Kyle Shanahan justified Isaac Guerendo being a healthy scratch for a few games because Jordan James was doing well in practice, but James didn't have a touch as a rookie until the playoffs.

Maybe this ages horribly but I think Isaac Guerendo is a much better player than Kaelon Black which given this situation - only adds to how puzzling of a draft pick that was when it was made

Unfortunately, I found out that today was my last day at @AtoZSportsNFL as I was part of multiple layoffs by the company. It's been a dream to write about the Sooners, Rams, Patriots, Wolverines, Aggies, and everyone else in between for the last couple of years, and I'm beyond grateful A to Z took a chance on me. I don't know what's next for me but I will still be around, you can count on that!
