@GamesNosh After the first major update that changed the UI and made progression easier to become a Jedi/Sith, Bounty Hunter etc I bounced.
The grind was actually purposeful and rewarding, after the progression change it made everything incredibly boring and fewer people were grouping up.

These games are peak Millennialcore (early 00's) - it's hilarious watching Zoomers try to claim them as something that belongs to them and them alone.
Most of you couldn't even form cogent thoughts when we were playing them.

Zoomers are doing stolen valor again. MILLENNIALS played these games. Your average zoomer was in pre-K or hadn't even been born when most of these came out. Moreover, many of these games aren't even good. Let's go through the list: 1) STARFIGHTER: inferior version of ROGUE SQUADRON. 2) JEDI STARFIGHTER: inferior sequel to STARFIGHTER. 3) RACER REVENGE: who puts this game over EPISODE I: RACER? 4) CLONE WARS: mediocre. 5) SUPER BOMBAD RACING: lol. 6) BOUNTY HUNTER: terrible piece of shit with terrible level design, terrible shooting, and terrible hit detection. 7) OBI-WAN: never played but is recognized as one of the worst Star Wars games ever made, probably because it was rushed for the Xbox's launch. 8) EPISODE III: mediocre. 9) FORCE COMMANDER: ungodly terrible game. What kind of retard designs an RTS with flight simulator style camera controls? (Also zoomers playing an RTS, lol. They probably think MOBAs are too hard n stuff.) 10) JEDI POWER BATTLES: mediocre. 11) BATTLEFRONT: merely decent, glorified reskin of BATTLEFIELD 1942. 12) BATTLEFRONT II: same. 13) KOTOR: very good game dragged down by bad BioWare writing. 14) KOTOR II: overrated, still good, but weighed down by Obsidian's terrible design, inability to bug test, inability to meet deadlines. 15) Why is the same game listed twice? 16) JEDI ACADEMY: good, but inferior to JEDI KNIGHT II. 17) JEDI OUTCAST: good, but inferior to the original JEDI KNIGHT. 18) REPUBLIC COMMANDO: never played, but everyone says it's good, so I'll take their word for it. 19) LEGO STAR WARS: never played because I was a teenager when that came out. 20) LEGO STAR WARS II: same. I don't know how you make a list about the "golden age of Star Wars gaming" and exclude half the Star Wars games that were both good and innovative. Where's DARK FORCES? JEDI KNIGHT: DARK FORCES II? ROGUE SQUADRON? SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE? EPISODE I: RACER? REBEL ASSAULT II? Any of the X-WING games? These games had a lasting effect on game design. The X-WING series defined the space simulation genre, while DARK FORCES and its sequel introduced FPS innovations like multi-level areas, multiple endings, and the ability to aim in 360 degrees. The 2000s wasn't the "golden age of Star Wars gaming," it was when LucasArts lost the plot and started turning out turd after turd like OBI-WAN and BOUNTY HUNTER. It was so bad that they had to start hiring external developers and shifting their focus to original IPs. There's a reason why the best games on this list weren't made by LucasArts: Pandemic (BATTLEFRONT and BATTLEFRONT II), BioWare (KOTOR), Obsidian (KOTOR II), JEDI KNIGHT II and JEDI OUTCAST (Raven). The list also excludes two other good games from this era that were made by other developers: GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS (Ensemble) and EMPIRE AT WAR (Petroglyph). Get out, tourist.

@JayRNaylor It's crazy to say but fantasy racism is intrinsic to the Elder Scrolls setting. If an ES game doesn't feature one of the many types of Elf being a supremacist can you even call it Elder Scrolls? And they'll probably sterilize any of the darker Daedric quests.

I can think of things from Skyrim that Microsoft would never allow as dialog or quests. Proposing to a hagraven while drunk. Shaming Haelga. Belethor joking about selling slaves. The statue of Dibella. Feminine armor. "Thalmor bitch." The option to be racist to Dunmer in dialog.

My greatest concern for Elder Scrolls 6 isn't bugs, jank, or writing. It's this HR-approved, sterile, edgeless, sexless, "safe" tone in everything coming out from Microsoft, now. It's so pervasive it has to be enforced across every studio they own. Starfield showed it.

Forza Horizon 6 vs. Forza Horizon 1 intro cutscene Yes, you see that right. A 14 year old game's cutscene looks ten times better than the latest release. We went from the level of Rockstar to Ubisoft. Cutscenes evolved, but backwards.

@Mothkyng I think they should've had the Desmond thing just completely remove the Isu from the board. From there the Animus would be for training operatives to participated in the modern day conflict of the Assassins trying to dislodge the remaining Templars embedded across the globe.

I think this sort of became obvious with Shadows’s implementation of it, and it sucks that we’re completely pivoting away from all the modern day characters we’ve known for so long since AC2. Getting rid of Desmond will always been the dumbest thing this franchise did :/

Well. I don't know if this is considered leak since it's on youtube posted by a Youtuber (watermark in the pictures) that actually played the game, but it looks like the Modern Day now is taking place in 2096, maybe I'm late to the party but I believe it has gone unnoticed a little bit.
