Woke up to the thought of the UCL. PSG likes to draw the first blood and they also break fast. Arsenal will have to stay aggressive from minute one to the last and give no fucking inch! COYG

@AAdeleke_01 Dear Governor, I'm no APC member, just a curious citizen. (Before una come for my head 😂) That school (a sort of girls school) commissioned in the Oke-Ayepe area I think last year or so, I believe is not being used till now. Is there a particular reason why, your Excellency?

@whatnext___ @Nobsdaslushhkid He was offering an advice. Not commanding no one. If you're so traumatized supporting the Arsenal and you rant to anyone that cares to listen about how bad your team and coach is. An alternative solution is to take the easy way out and join some better teams out there.

I have never seen this level of stupidity before, you hate the way Arsenal play, you hate the coach but you spend your time supporting them. They are not paying you, go support the team you love, go support good football and coach.

I thought Oyetola’s media team was bad. Adeleke’s media team is the absolute worst. I don’t think you people understand how many road projects Adeleke has started and completed! His work rate is insane, but the media coverage for it is so abysmal! God!!!!

@osifo_2 @iamNeare I don't doubt the guy who wrote the Chinese version however when I was reading it, I felt it was too much of a story than reality. Anyways we have gone through a lot in this country that sometimes unimaginable things happen

I bought Crude Oil from American men and signed a receipt written in American English. I was running a manufacturing project and needed crude urgently. Went to Niger-Delta and was surprised that not even 1 Oil well is owned by a Nigerian I asked who owned the operation. American men bought Oil blocks. The Oil fields included. Our Crude Oil. Our land. Their business. I asked for the price. We agreed. Then they handed me a receipt. Written entirely in American English. I said I cannot sign what I cannot read. They said drop offload the Oil and collect your refund. I needed that Crude Oil badly. I signed. They released the Oil. I sat in my car thinking about this country.🤦‍♂️

MY WATCH: Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has chronicled in his book MY WATCH, the genesis of the uneasy relationship between him and his former deputy, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as well as how his aides planted moles within Atiku’s camp to monitor him. Obasanjo, who denied ever seeking Third Term in office, blamed Atiku for what he described as a campaign of calumny against him on the issue after buying up the media. He says: “I came to understand from some senators including Florence Ita-Giwa, who later became my Special Adviser/ Liaison Officer to the National Assembly, that Atiku distributed US$5,000 each to some senators to carry out the 'coup'. That was the beginning of bribing the legislature to carry out a particular line of action to suit or satisfy the purpose or desire of an individual or a group”. Read more…👇

@ImoleOmoluabi @Pomilej Funny how every Jack on X thinks everyone else is their peer or junior. FYI 'waiting for trophy' did not start in Nigeria in 2006. Also lots of people watched football before '06. Should we conduct a population census of people who watched football before '06 then? Lame.

@Pomilej If you care to understand my point, in Nigeria waiting for trophy start 2006 till date. I am not saying people don't watch football before 2006 I'm saying how many people watch football before 2006 actively. We all experienced Arsenal waiting we dont experience others long wait.

Calm Down. Football Did Not Start in 2005. Every time Arsenal fans breathe, someone shouts “21 years without a league title!” as if Arsenal invented waiting. But let’s remind every football fan of history, because some people started watching football after Wi-Fi was installed in their house. Before you mock Arsenal, remember your own history. 🔴 Liverpool 1990 → 2020 That’s 30 YEARS without a league title. Three full decades of waiting before they finally celebrated again. 🔵 Manchester City 1968 → 2012 A massive 44 YEARS without winning the English league. 🔴 Manchester United 1967 → 1993 Yes, the same United that talk the loudest went 26 YEARS before lifting the league again. 🔵 Chelsea 1955 → 2005 The club people now call “serial winners” waited 50 YEARS before winning the modern Premier League. Now suddenly Arsenal’s 21 years is being treated like a century of suffering. Funny. Football didn’t begin with Roman Abramovich’s money, Football didn’t begin with Pep Guardiola, Football didn’t begin with Klopp Football has always been cycles. Great club rise. Great club falls. Then great clubs rise again. Arsenal have not disappeared. We rebuilt. We trusted the process. We built a young team. And now the world is watching again. Hate us. Mock us. Laugh at us. But remember this: Every giant club in England has gone through long droughts far longer than we are on currently. And when Arsenal finally lift the Premier League again… The noise from the Emirates Stadium will shake the football world. Mark this. This is the season the joy returns. This is the season the Gunners smile again. Sing with me gunners 🎶🎵North London Forever, Whatever the weather🎶🎵

@TomolaGroup @iOccupyNigeria Two truths can exist. According to you, Savings account owners are being short-changed while their money is being used to acquire T-bills that yield more. The other guy said the high demand for T-bills could be due to a non-profitable business economy. Both are true, yes?

Valid points but you answered a question nobody asked. I didn’t say oversubscription means the economy is booming. Read it again. The same bank paying you 8% is taking your money to buy T-bills at 16%. You’re funding their profit. Ghana, Argentina, Lebanon? Heavy comparisons but lazy. Ghana was drowning in dollar debt. Argentina was printing money like newspaper. Lebanon was running a whole Ponzi. Nigeria’s T-bills are naira denominated domestic instruments. Different animal. You’re debating macro. I’m talking about what the person reading this can do today. Even if everything you said is right, the guy earning 8% is still worse off than the guy earning 16%. The macro risk hits both of them but only one is getting compensated.

The CBN put ₦750 billion in treasury bills on the table yesterday. Investors showed up with ₦2.36 trillion. That’s over 3x oversubscribed. The 364-day bill alone attracted ₦2.12 trillion in bids for just ₦550 billion on offer. Rates held steady at 15.95% for 91 days, 16.19% for 182 days and 16.20% for 364 days. Think about what this means. Pension funds, banks, insurance companies and big money investors are fighting over government debt that pays 16%. They can’t get enough of it. Meanwhile your savings account is giving you 8% and you think your money is working. The same institutions holding your deposits are using that money to buy these T-bills at double the rate they’re paying you. The information gap is the wealth gap.
