These are some of the items recovered from a mansion used as stash house in Lekki Lagos where over N5.8 billion worth of illicit drugs were seized by @ndlea_nigeria officers at the weekend. That’s the much saved from getting into our homes by those targeting our children with illicit substances packaged in designer sachets like the ones in these pictures. In case, you see anything like this in your wastebasket at home, seek help for your young ones at home immediately.

Lagos will host one of the best private football tournaments this year! Every industry needs broad thinkers and growth/development focused leaders like the DG of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr Lekan Fatodu. The simple truth is, @lagosliga needed institutional support to happen and from my very first seconds of meeting with him in 2024, he granted that. No hassle, no drama, no airs. Nigeria is blessed for his kind, because at this time, they are the exception. Lagos Liga will raise the ante again. I shared our progress wjth him, signing up the biggest name in football globally as the title sponsor and having the biggest brand in its category globally as our first set of partners for 2026. If anyone deserved to get those news before the public, it’s him. Because with big brands comes bigger responsibilities. I also made sure to hand the responsibilities to him. Lol. Because with DG Lekan Fatodu, we have always been assured of the institutional support needed to build a truly global sports brand, from Nigeria’s greatest commercial pride and Centre of Excellence, Lagos. Watch out, great things are coming!

Somebody should invent a microblogging platform that makes it quick and easy to find the best on-the-ground reporting and relevant expertise, while weeding out misinformation, propaganda, blather, and outright crazy people.

I don’t know who advised the President to align with BRICS, for me it’s a strategic error considering how much he wants a second term. The MAGA base in the US is increasingly expansionist, does he want them to intensify the Christian Persecution in Nigeria rhetoric to back a Christian candidate?. I know some people will say that it’s better for our economy but it isn’t and BRICS isn’t a real thing. There’s no economic alliance, no military, we will now get extra 10% tariff from the US, risk cancellation of AGOA and military equipment purchase. We could have watched from afar and see how things play out.

The People’s Gazette was the first to expose the certificate forgery of the Minister for Innovation, Science, and Technology, Uche Nnaji, who has just resigned as a cabinet member. The people who took the minister to court used the documents from this story. Other media platforms only started reporting on the certificate forgery—and even claiming exclusivity after the Federal High Court in Abuja had dismissed a request by Uche Nnaji to stop the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), from releasing his academic records. Our media houses need to do better. There’s nothing wrong with crediting the platform that first broke the story. For a story of this magnitude, none of them cared to investigate further to bring the perpetrator to book. The man stayed on as minister from 2024, when PG exposed this, up until this moment, when he has been forced to resign following a court order.
