ADC National Youth Leader - Balarabe Rufai
PRESS STATEMENT RE: URGENT REVIEW OF NOMINATION AND EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORMS TO DEEPEN INCLUSIVITY The Office of the National Youth Leader of our great Party wishes to inform members, stakeholders, and the general public that earlier today, I received in audience Hajiya Naja’atu Muhammad and Abubakar Malami, who paid a strategic visit to my office. The essence of this engagement was a purposeful and timely proposal for an immediate review of the cost of our Party’s Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms, ahead of the scheduled commencement of sales on May 5. Following this critical discussion, we have formally approached the National Chairman of our great Party to treat this matter with utmost urgency, in line with the spirit of fairness, inclusivity, and internal democracy that defines our Party. This proposed review is fundamentally aimed at lowering financial barriers that have historically limited participation, particularly for young people, women, and Persons With Disabilities (PWDs). It is our firm belief that leadership should not be determined by economic strength alone, but by capacity, competence, and commitment to service. As a Party committed to progressive ideals, we recognize that empowering these critical demographics is not optional, it is a constitutional and moral obligation. The future of our democracy depends on how well we create pathways for broader participation. Haven received and acknowledged all your complaints from accross various States,We therefore assure all Youth Aspirants across the country, that the anticipated reduction in the cost of forms will be significantly favorable, accessible, and reflective of our unwavering commitment to youth inclusion in leadership. This is more than a policy adjustment, it is a bold step toward reshaping our political landscape, fostering equity, and strengthening the democratic process within our Party. We call on all stakeholders to support this initiative as we collectively build a more inclusive, vibrant, and people oriented political structure. Comrade Balarabe Rufa'i National Youth Leader African Democratic Congress (ADC)

@HRH_Ujuaku @atiku Well Said dear. Atiku is the Man to be trusted with power. I have been supporting since inception and I will continue to do so when the need arises. It's indeed a commendable write up. Profound thanks.

My dearest Waziri @atiku , Today marks exactly 33 years, 2 months, and 8 days since you first entered the presidential arena in the historic SDP primaries of March 1993. What an incredible milestone! From standing shoulder-to-shoulder with legends like MKO Abiola to your determined campaigns in 2007, 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2023 — and now eyeing what you have described as your final push in 2027 . Your journey stands as a masterclass in resilience, vision, and unwavering love for Nigeria. Few leaders in our nation’s history have shown such consistent dedication. As a successful businessman, former Vice President, and champion of restructuring, economic reforms, youth empowerment, and true federalism, you have remained a towering figure in Nigerian politics. Your experience, strategic intellect, and ability to build bridges across divides make you one of the most prepared and battle-tested leaders of our time. Millions of Nigerians continue to admire your tenacity and see in you a man who truly believes in the Nigeria of our dreams. I wish you all the best in ADC and remember whether I'm at the forefront or cheering from the back, you have my best wishes and highest regards always - Ezenwanyi

David Mark is the most foolish National Chairman of a coalition party in history. This is why Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the then APC National Chairman (2015-2018), remains the best coalition party Chairman in Nigeria. he had the discipline and political foresight to align with the prevailing national mood by ensuring a Northerner (Buhari) emerged as the party’s candidate. Anything other than that would have imploded and destabilized APC from day one. Sadly, David Mark is as foolish as a hungry politician who doesn't mind if his party dies provided his stomach is well catered for.

I have done best in the obidient movement on the plateau since 2023 general elections. In the ADC I also mobilized Obidients into the ADC, actively took party in the formation of the party structure and emerged as the state woman leader. Right now, I must take a decision for me. I wish Nigeria the best of luck. I feel bad that Tinubu is coming back without much struggle

@dondekojo Thank you. All what we are seeing has to do with ethnic chauvinism. And one thing I know for sure is that no one person or region in the country can crown an individual a king. It has always been a collaboration not by onely one region. Let's see how the palace drum beat vbrates

Obi and Dickson had a meeting last year. Dickson went ahead and formed the NDC. Obi knew Tinubu would try to shatter the ADC coalition, so he moved ahead of time. El-Rufai said last December that the ADC coalition was just a temporary solution. These men are several steps ahead of Tinubu this time. Now both Obi and Kwankwaso have defected to the NDC. El-Rufai will join them next week. Atiku and Tinubu didn’t see it coming.
