@kangminlee @Sachinettiyil Here's a podcast you might enjoy that touches on difficult subjects from the view of major faiths. Can a Non-Christian be saved? Why the different Creeds? Jesus in hell? I'll say a prayer for you as I have enjoyed watching your continued conversion. spes-et-gaudium.buzzsprout.com

I am now seriously inquiring Catholicism, Orthodoxy, or High-Church Protestantism after this whole fiasco. Modern evangelicalism is compromised & detached from apostolic faith, swapped for subjective feel-good fluff instead of Scripture-rooted truth & historic Church tradition.

@TomorrowsWar Well said, one of my favorite podcast episodes asks the question, Can Non-Christians be saved? Terms like implicit baptism, invincible ignorance, and where do our Non-Christian brothers and sisters go? buzzsprout.com/2569717/episod…

The thief on the cross was saved by perfect contrition and implicit desire for Baptism and the Church in a moment of extraordinary grace outside the ordinary means of salvation established by Christ. Sola Fide also collapses here too. The thief’s final act was not faith alone detached from all response, but an incredible act of repentance, hope, and submission to Christ in the only way left to him. He was not a lifelong Protestant refusing the sacraments, he was a dying man given a unique and unrepeatable grace.

@TomorrowsWar How did the thief on the cross get saved?

It started off as a SEO experiment. I have been blogging about faith (all faiths from Atheism to Islam, from Judaism to Christianity) since I started formally studying my faith 5 years ago. Recommended by my brilliant marketing genius daughter, I didn't create new content from scratch, I just used my own blogs as the foundation for the episodes and viola, I started a podcast. I set a goal of ten episodes for Season 1 without plans to create any more after ten. Maybe I wouldn't even like it? Maybe it's too much work (and I'm busy enough as is)? It's been 6 weeks now since I started dropping new episodes every Sunday with Episode 7 (and my near death experience) dropping this past Sunday. I never would have imagined that people in other states, let alone countries would be listening to it. I haven't advertised or put forth a full blown paid marketing campaign or social media strategy to market the podcast and I'm very pleased with the results. I look forward to wrapping up the season with only 3 more recordings left but what a blessing it has been to pray 🙏🏿 with people from around the world, week after week, and to share what I've learned and some personal stories about my life and my faith journey. If you listen, thank you for your support. Glory always to God, the Almighty, for His abundant blessings. 👇🏿👇🏿👇🏿 spes-et-gaudium.buzzsprout.com

The Church will not declare anyone in Hell, but there are a few people that are likely there without a last minute conversion. We can pray that Leonid Radvinsky had a last minute conversion, but otherwise he's example of how not live one's life.

@trad_west_ You can see the Jubilee sign above my head! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the trip. Use @Tripadvisor and you won't regret this pilgrimage. We also went to the prison where Paul wrote a few of his letters and the colosseum where he preached the very same message we need to hear today!

After Jesus’ crucifixion He entrusted the care of His mother Mary to the Apostle John. According to early Christian tradition, John brought Mary to Ephesus in modern-day Turkey, where she spent her remaining years. In the 19th century, a German nun named Anne Catherine Emmerich described Mary’s house in remarkable detail through visions, despite never having left Germany. Researchers traveled to Ephesus and found a site matching her description almost exactly. The foundations of the structure have been dated to the first century. Three popes have visited the site: Paul VI, John Paul II, and Benedict XVI. The Catholic Church has not officially declared it authentic. It remains one of the most visited Christian pilgrimage sites in the world.

@joaosilveiraaa @FredSimonTLM Simple: because the family mandated attendance. Nowadays it's, go if you want. Go to any church where you get something out of it. Don't go if you don't get something out of it. You do you. It's all about the ego-drama. It starts with the family.

@JoshuaBarzon You might just as well criticize psalm 136 for "mindlessly repeating" "for his mercy endures forever" in every verse.

The Nicene Creed was formalized at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325 and refined at Constantinople in 381. It was written to define orthodoxy against heresy, not to be recited mindlessly. Every line was hammered out in theological controversy.

Happy Sunday! This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad! In the last two episodes, we explored the radical ideas of obedience and fasting. Today, we shift from concepts to a person—a countercultural figure whose "Fiat," whose actions, whose very existence changed the universe forever. And get this: it wasn't some battle-hardened warrior dropping truth bombs from a mountaintop. And personal story, one not shared publicly until TODAY 🙏🏿. Magnificat Anima Mea Domino!
