Remember how much Scott Perry and the org hyped up this signing? The extent they outbid any competitors to bring him in? And how quickly it was obviously terrible and didn’t work? Perry’s biggest move to date was a massive whiff. This was supposed to be a 6 pillar guy!

@krishcoughran He projects to be the worst defender in the draft. Seems like a problem in today’s NBA. But, then again, we gave away Keon Ellis as a throw-in in the Hunter trade, so they clearly don’t value defensive guards

I’m not buying the “small guard” argument against Acuff Jr. He’s 6’3” and built. Most of the guards he’s compared to, like Kemba Walker, are closer to 6’0”. What really stands out is how unselfish he is for a scorer; he has elite court vision and assist numbers. Defense is a concern, sure, but he has the skillset to improve there, unlike Trae Young, who is too slight. It’s really a question of whether a team believes they can get him locked in defensively.

Was a bit surprised today by the amount of Kings fans who called/texted into the radio show in support of the Kings winning games over draft lottery odds. I definitely still disagree with that course of action by the Kings, but I really appreciate the conversation.

Still doesn’t feel like we’ve talked about this enough. There are some rumors and theories but nothing to earth shattering. Maybe it was just a miss, a bad miss.

@dwpoker I had spam calls every day, usually multiple, for what felt like forever. Since Apple filter turned on, I think I’ve only had 1 or 2 total in weeks. Can’t remember last scam call.

The spam calls are too much. Even with the Apple iOS filtering I get constant voicemails. Thinking of disabling voicemail. Any reasons why I shouldn’t do this? Can’t think of the last time I got a voicemail that mattered.
