@blondemedSJW When I was a kid I wanted to be a train. Not a train driver, an actual train.
English

@McScorer61 @OtsukimiOtsu @bushontheradio I loved the magic as a child so wanted to give him that but was a bit worried about the "reveal", needn't have been though, he found it hilarious
English

@McScorer61 @OtsukimiOtsu @bushontheradio This is interesting, I've been wondering about this, and whether things like online Santa trackers etc make it harder. I've done it with my son but this year he'd obviously figured it out so i told him, but then wondered if i should have done more to keep up the belief!
English

@Ciderpunk77 @laurennnn0607 Haaa this is almost word for word me prepping the 7 year old for the mission today (solo parent so he has to come), he was a legend
English

@laurennnn0607 Agree 💯 you know what you want already bang bang bang..in like the SAS
English

@laurennnn0607 I'm a single parent so my 7 year old has been training since birth, took him into m&s food today and he did me bloody PROUD, speed packing at the til like a champ
English

@Keir_Starmer You obviously don't get it then - I voted Green not Labour because I categorically disagree with the direction you're going in, not because i think you should go further/faster
English

Most Prime Ministers would respond to these local elections with the same old excuses.
My response is simple: I get it.
We’re moving in the right direction, but people must feel the benefits of change.
I will go further and faster to make that happen.

@dontforgetangie @jlm_sophie ....as long as you're not wearing dungarees. Learned that the hard way!
English

@jlm_sophie I had a bouncer, I would bring her in the bathroom (on the floor) if I needed to shower or leave her in her bassinet (if it was just peeing) and let her fuss a little. Normally she was a quiet baby tho.
Also, maybe try baby wearing. You can pee and wear a baby lol
English

@martinimcfli @HollMCR @bigphil321 Absolutely! My mum has dementia and multiple sclerosis, she's bedbound, and she's beautiful. I find it so sad that he felt like he had to remove it.
English

@HollMCR @bigphil321 @LOU15E_97 Yes, totally. My Dad looks old, disabled, thin from his hospital stay. But when he smiles he lights up and much like Julie’s husband I want to share that. We have nice days, he’s more than his disability.
English

I’ve seen a photo kicking about, of Heywood’s very own #juliegoodyear taken by her husband..
She doesn’t deserve that picture being published, it’s awful & I doubt she knows about it as she has dementia❤️
She needs to be remembered like this👍💙
The husband should be ashamed😖

English

@LemonBella @MAFShysteria Totally, I thought it was quite illuminating!
English

@MAFShysteria Also in light of his want to be the big strong stable man in the relationship who the woman relies on' - it's a story that teaches you a lot about him. It might teach you that he's not your guy but you can't say he didn't tell you anything.
English

My sister fell into a diabetic coma and because it was so overwhelming, I’ve since tried to strictly control my emotions.
‘He chose to tell me nothing’. Veronica and I heard VERY different things.🤷🏾♂️ #MAFSAU🤵🏾

English

@FinucaneOlivia @MAFShysteria Hahahahah TRUTH! Literally typing this at 2:44am cus the only time i get to myself is if i get up in the middle of the night 😆
English

@MAFShysteria He’s not gonna get much Tony time if he has a baby 🤣
English

‘Wow, I’ve just realised I wanna have a baby … I’m not buying it. He’s disrespected me again making up this story … clearly, I can’t reproduce.’
I wasn’t expecting this to be the baby news.😂 #MAFSAU🤵🏾

English

@woosieowens7 @MAFShysteria Yeah absolutely, and this whole episode totally illustrates WHY!
English

@MAFShysteria I was thinking to myself, who on earth tells a new partner within 2 - 3 weeks of meeting, EVERYTHING about themselves? The deepest, darkest, most painful experience they have ever been through,I can't imagine many do. I know it's the name of the game/experiment,but even so!
English

Veronica is condescending, passive aggressive and lacking in empathy.
You read that correctly. Veronica NOT Eliot is being those things.🤯 #MAFSAU🤵🏾

English

@FunnyClareWare @Cookies641 @MAFShysteria Agreed, i also thought he was surprisingly patient with her obviously unhinged behaviour, and expressed himself quite well trying to defend himself!
English

@Cookies641 @MAFShysteria She’s very patronising too? I totally understood what Elliot meant. Also ‘don’t paraphrase’ Jeez V, chill the flip out! 😬
English

‘Do not raise your voice at me. I have been so civil with you.’
I can’t believe I’m watching ELIOT BEING GASLIT.🤯🤯🤯 #MAFSAU🤵🏾

English

I fucking hate April Fools Day
Clive Lewis MP@labourlewis
BREAKING After a debate in Parliament, the Government has accepted my Private Members’ Water Bill. As of today: • Above-inflation water bill hikes suspended • Dividend payouts halted • Citizens’ Assembly on water ownership confirmed Democratic control of water is here!
English

@mithrandir0 @MAFShysteria Right??? Well I'm not wondering because I can guess and it speaks volumes
English

@MAFShysteria I’m more just wondering why he doesn’t want to validate his imaginary daughter as well as his imaginary son?
English

‘You’re gonna get that validation for me … especially my son.’
What the fuck is going on?! These two are THE. MADDEST. pair I’ve seen!!!🤯🤯🤯 #MAFSAU🤵🏾

English

@Crapshooanyhoo @user_1_1 @MAFShysteria Right? I deliberately avoid the hashtags but feel like the UK based podcast feed about the UK screening should be safe!
English

@user_1_1 @MAFShysteria Keep the info to yourself. You're spoiling it for us.
English

@colwebs @theblackwells04 @April_1970s Equally though my neurodivergent child would find the loud noise of someone else's iPad distressing
English

@theblackwells04 @April_1970s Are you aware that some children / adults who are autistic .. can’t / don’t like using headphones
An iPad may be their comfort blanket
English

I’ve just asked a woman on a train carriage full of people to either lower the volume on her phone or wear headphones.
Lady: I can have it as loud as I like. Me : Well, no one wants to hear it. Lady: I’m going to give you a slap.
I’m now waiting for my slap. 😂
And this is why people don’t confront other people. Because there’s a threat of violence.
English

@DrSteveTaylor Up my nose and refer me back to her NHS clinic for surgery to correct my obvious deviated septum. I would have loved to have half of these investigations.
English

@DrSteveTaylor I mean, I see what you're saying but I had chronic debilitating sinus pain for years and regularly saw my GP/had repeated antibiotics - I had to fight so hard for a referral to ENT who then refused me, until I paid to see a private ENT who was the first person to actually look
English

So this is the new great idea🤔
I’m pretty sure if Sarah had seen a GP she wouldn’t have needed to have a CT scan, no need to speak to the ENT registrar & yes it could be managed in the community
Why does NHS England always underestimate the skills of GPs
