What’s going on at Columbia is atrocious. Openly supporting Hamas and endorsing the rapes and massacre of October 7 is promoting violence, not peaceful protest. Now, Jewish students are being told to return home for fear of their safety.

Had the honor of presenting today at the inaugural conference for NYU’s Center for the Study of Antisemitism. It was an honor to speak about my doctoral research on Jewish student belonging, as well as suggest areas for further research in the educational landscape.

JCRC-NY's Statement Condemning Iranian Attack on Israel

Iran continues to be the biggest threat to democracy and is leading an axis of evil. We must condemn their attack on Israel, but also recognize the threat is not limited to the Middle East. That is why the United States will continue to be a staunch ally of Israel.

As mayor of the largest Jewish population in the world outside of Israel, the significance of Iran's attack for Jewish New Yorkers — many of whom have family in Israel — is not lost on me, especially with Passover just days away. New York City stands with Israel.
