🚨JB PRITZKER on his proposed "Agenda 48" for the next Democratic Presidency: "Here's the one thing we should learn from what Donald Trump has done: he came into office with an agenda, and implemented it within his first year. We need to have our agenda. We need to make sure we pass it in the first year. And it needs to be BOLD."

I like Kamala but this is not a winning message. People want radical, transformative change that will dramatically and immediately improve their lives.

WATCH: “Why not just oppose this? We’re gonna trust Trump and Hegseth?” @Timodc grills Democratic congressman @RepJoshG about why he won’t oppose the war, downplays the role Israel played (even after the NYT article), etc.🤔 Full @BulwarkOnline ep: youtu.be/8jrd5UZObF4?si…

This might sound crazy but I totally agree with @brian_blase and the Paragon analysis! Rare left-right consensus.

Plouffe right as ever about this. Only thing I’d add is that none of this works without the person whose name is on the door being involved. The whole thing falls over if their only engagement is quick briefing before you shoot a thing that you cooked up for them.

David Plouffe says campaigning at this point is basically just nonstop content creation. tinyurl.com/mpte5e5u

I think 2028 Dem presidential candidates WON'T run on reversing Trump's tariffs 👀 There's so little revenue to spend and they will decide other options are more impactful

I could never pull off a metaphor this well. (Although the nice firefighter doesn't seem to be in any hurry to show up.)

Given everything, it feels strange to write about Democrats’ debate over what to put in a 2029 reconciliation bill. But it’s happening. Can Dems raise $1T or $2T or $5T in revenue? And which policies get first priority? Link below:

It’s not ALL grim news today. On the plus side, you’re getting new tariffs. 🤡

Sen. Van Hollen is usually right on the money, but this is deeply misguided. We have a tax cut party. It’s the Republicans. We’re not going to outdo them. The race to exempt people from paying taxes is only going to erode our fiscal situation and our democracy.

The most endangered Democrat in the Senate out with a statement forcefully opposed to the war in Iran -- proof positive that the politics are quite different than 2002-2003
