Community energy has always been at the heart of what we do - probably why we love this photo from our installations with North Lincolnshire Community Energy, @NorthLincsCNews & @Energy4AllLtd. It’s great to help schools generate their own renewable energy funded by the community

A quick update: we've now raised £150,000 in our share offer, enough to install solar panels on 2 buildings at @WellyTimp! 💚 To give more people the chance to invest in this local #CommunityEnergy project, we've extended the closing date to 16 July. 👉gmcr.org.uk/invest

@SarahBBrooke Hi Sarah, yes they are, all bags are removed. Compostable liners are made from plants so when they are sent to energy from waste, the carbon released is the same as what was absorbed when that plant was growing, so is a more carbon neutral option.

You can now use any type of bag to line your food caddy, including old plastic bags or bread bags. At the treatment facility, all bags are removed before the food waste is processed and these are sent to energy from waste. You can still use newspaper or compostable liners.

My grandad has two of these tape cassette players he doesn’t need. What can I do with them? Would anyone actually use these or do they belong in a museum?

@richbull We had someone 3 doors down from us mowing their lawn before 8am one morning on a weekend recently! We were already up but still….

Is it technically a crime for a neighbour to mow their lawn with a petrol mower at 10am on a beautiful Saturday morning whilst you’re outside drinking coffee listening to Paul Simon? #askingforafriend

@MusicEllaB Ah ok. To be fair when i was a new graduate living with friends we I had a neighbour that did that to our front garden but I was just a case of us not having had time to mow it! Maybe we need some placards to use that inform others of no mow may & why our gardens are going wild!

@MusicEllaB Do they have access to your garden then? That is quite awkward but if it was me I would come straight out and say thank you for your concern and care but I’m actually letting it grow through May for the benefit of wildlife?

I am taking part in 'No Mow May' and proud that my grass is at least 30cm tall...but my kind neighbour seems to be cutting it.😄 What do I do?...

Eldest child would like to know if other families out there cut up old clothes to use as cleaning rags or is it just us? Come on low-waste people, please reassure her we’re not alone…

When we think of bees, we generally think about honeybees and bumblebees but did you know there are 270 species of bee in the UK, the majority of which are solitary bee species? #WorldBeeDay Find out more at warwickdc.gov.uk/worldbeeday
